Charl91 Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Anyone else slightly nervous? From what I read on the Reading forum, the Ref we have on the game has sent Mills off twice in 4 games. Coupled with the fact that we're playing his old team, who probably know how to push his buttons (the fans certainly do), I'm just worried that this is an accident waiting to happen. Maybe it's just me, but I can see with his temperament Mills getting a fair few reds this season.

Mills will have a good idea about what kind of game Reading play, he hasn't been left that long so the style probably hasn't changed. All in all, think that it's the kind of game for him to really make his mark and prove why we paid that much for him!
Messi Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Super Matt Mills is a fox, Is a fox Is a fox Super Matt Mills is a fox He hates Reading!!
dpjfox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 I prefer to think opposite, ie will be wound up for this , desperate to ply well win , even score, he is afterall LEICESTER CAPTAIN
sven-your-smiling Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 matt milss, he'll break your fooking legs, he'll break your fooking legs, he'll break your fooking legs, MATT MILLS!!
Fox92 Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 I read that too on the Reading forum that Mills was sent off several times with this particular referee. I don't think we should feel nervous. Mills will probably get booed, but at the end of the day this is what happens in the game, Mills won't be the first and won't be the last to get booed by his former fans. Only thing he can do is be professional and play well, and us fans support another Leicester City player like we always do.
Leicsroyal Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 I don't think Matt Mills will take the slightest bit of notice of us Reading fans. He will get some stick, that goes without saying. Mills biggest worry is a speedy, tricky striker that would continuously try to spin him and is clever enough to buy a foul in the penalty area. Someone like Shane Long................ Oh!
lcfcnoely Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 He will either have a blinder...or a shocker I'm thinking he will have a blinder and maybe nick a goal
Charl91 Posted 14 August 2011 Author Posted 14 August 2011 Well, it wasn't a red. Might as well have been though.
broughtonblue Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 He will either have a blinder...or a shocker I'm thinking he will have a blinder and maybe nick a goal Wrong choice!
carterfox90 Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 on that evidence yesterday he is not worth £5 let alone £5.5 million!!!!!!!!1111111 time will tell i just hope it was a bad day for him!!!!
ian the fox Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 I thought he struggled with our 4-0-1 formatition , any defence would struggle without a midfield to protect it ,
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Matty Mills will come good for Leicester i am sure
Izzet is God Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Looked to me like he was unsure who to pass too....had a poor game by his standards but it's understandable, I think he'll be ok for us....until Reading away
Fox92 Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Looked to me like he was unsure who to pass too.... His passing is horrible.
gazfox9 Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Bad day at the office for him, no doubt. I've seen him several times for Reading and he was outstanding. He'll come good, I've no doubts about that. I just hope the transfer fee isn't a nouse arond his neck though, remember, he could do nothing about the amount we paid for him. We've just gotta keep behind him and the lads.
Babylon Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 His passing is horrible. So was everyone's, I would love to see the pass completed stats because I'd imagine they were pretty awful.
Dr The Singh Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 So was everyone's, I would love to see the pass completed stats because I'd imagine they were pretty awful. No worse then anyone else on the pitch on saturday!!! Roll on brizzle
Babylon Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 No worse then anyone else on the pitch on saturday!!! Roll on brizzle I'm talking about the whole teams stats dummy
Dr The Singh Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 I'm talking about the whole teams stats dummy ANybody can provide stats, but I provide tats!!!
Fox92 Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 So was everyone's, I would love to see the pass completed stats because I'd imagine they were pretty awful. Not just against Reading. He gave the ball away countless times at Rotherham which put us under pressure.
Babylon Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Not just against Reading. He gave the ball away countless times at Rotherham which put us under pressure. After a while I starting watching him to see exactly what options he had, quite often there was no easy ball (except back to the keeper). So whilst he needs to sort his shit out, we also need players to make room for themselves so they can just receive an easy ball from him. Hopefully we'll see that a bit more now they all know he can't pass.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 Either mills is the good player we all thought he was, or Sven has made a cock up here on par with Taylor and ade akinbiyi... I think he WILL be the rock we are all expecting.. However, the truth is that, so far, he has looked shocking.. Devoid of confidence and his passing mainly woeful Give it and him time
Bryn Posted 15 August 2011 Posted 15 August 2011 The one thing I'll grant for him in his defence is that he was probably absolutely staggered that every time he hit a ball into the channel, there was nary a winger, full back or striker in sight.
