MC Prussian Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 We're doing too little or have done too little in the first half with a squad that played it too timid. Abe shouldn't have been on the allowed on the pitch at all, seemed rusty by the sounds of it. Central midfield too sloppy, uninspired and unlucky going forward. I think we're all good in the back (apart from this one mistake now), but simply sh*t at scoring. Loose ends up front, our midfield-and-forward play is missing a few pieces.

I suspect that our team won't properly gel for at least a month, and by that point we should have a striker to finish the job. Though it would be nice to put Reading to the sword, I am not going to spill my newly pured drink over this game.

Reading are a very good team (even after losing Long, Mills and Khizwhatsit. I guess the people who would thinking we would walk it this season are in for a surprise. If we get a draw out of this I will be super happy and also it will be the real yard stick of improvement.
