The club arnt allowed to move the away fans next to the current Kop 'a la filbert' street due to the bottle neck caused between the east stand entrances and car park... this was muted a couple of years ago under Mandaric and Leicestershire Constabulary couldn't guarantee fan safety.

Traditionally the right side of the Kop has always been the hard core of our supporter base but if you swapped ends then they would be sat furthest from the away fans next to the West Stand, which surely defeats the object. If the club were to ineffect reverse the seating plan I know I would definitely be very annoyed as I chose my seat based upon the view and atmosphere around me, so would kick off with the club big time if I was forced to switch to the opposite side.

However the only stumbling block is that should the 'Kop' and Family Stand swap, the family stand has 680 seats less than the 'Kop'. Very much doubt the club will agree to this, certainly not while our pal Mr Barclay is still on the payroll.
