dannyjpage Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Whatever happened to foxes never quit and keep the faith? After reading all the negativity on here, it sounds as if there are alot of you that have lost your faith. Lets put in into perspective We have alot of new signings, pre seasons gives us a feel for how we are going to play in the league, but you never really know until you have played a few games and got fully match fit. There has been far too much media speculation on us getting automatic promotion, i feel we have lost sight of taking each game as it comes. We have a bigger and stronger squad. I am a season ticket holder on row A where i can really see up close. Our passing has been good, but struggled for the final ball or the one thats going to create a chance or goal scoring opportunity due to lack of options. This then results in the sideways and backwards passing. I just feel 1 or 2 players could change this and give us more attacking options and stop the "eye through the needle passes" Sven showed last year that he is able to identify weak areas and improve them. At this stage of last season who would have thought we would finish where we did. So lets not turn on sven or the team. Lets get behind them at every game and be the 12th man. I could see the look on Gally's face at the end of the game last night and we was so frustrated. Sven and all the players want to be getting the results. So lets unite and if we concede or get a chant from the away supporters. Lets give them back twice as hard as we are foxes and we will NEVER quit.
Corky Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Whatever happened to foxes never quit and keep the faith? They went when Micky Adams left.

They started new threads that were completely unnecessary and were sent to the Tower.
dannyjpage Posted 18 August 2011 Author Posted 18 August 2011 Absolutely. Lets unite and get behind the team. Lets make the King Power a fortress

Only 'hopefully' ... for now But yes, we've got no chance if we don't step up & be the 12th man for a while
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Come on you Foxes fans we are all in it together, we are all disappointed with the start but it can only get better
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 I couldn't agree more, but as I have previously stated, the hardcore of some of our so called fans, won't change. They know who they are, the cowardly little boo boys. The same idiots who were on the back of a certain goal keeper last season. To be honest, they don't deserve success. Sad, but true. The real supporters, must be really sick and embarrassed by that mob.
Guest MattP Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Paulo Sousa has called on Leicester City's supporters to keep the faith after their heavy defeat at Portsmouth last night.
Corky Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Paulo Sousa has called on Leicester City's supporters to keep the faith after their heavy defeat at Portsmouth last night. Ah, it's good to remember the happy times
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 im not calling for Sven to go (In Sven :sge: we trust) but at what point do we say enough is enough? the end of the season? by christmas? or do we give him a couple of seasons and see how it goes before pressing the panic button?
Corky Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Foxes Never Quit, Keep the Faith, Feed the World, We're In It Together. "Smashing bunch of slogans"
dannyjpage Posted 18 August 2011 Author Posted 18 August 2011 Personally i dont think we will have to wait that long until we are seeing some good results. We are still trying to get the missing piece of the jigsaw. We cant play Nugent on his own all season It will get better
Tommy G Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Foxes Never Quit and Keep The Faith are slogans that are so camp its unreal. May aswell be endorsed by Dale Winton. there was about 8 foxes on the pitch that quit last night
m00nie Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 I am a season ticket holder on row A where i can really see up close. ohhhhhhhhh.. that solves the mystery.. we all thought we was maybe playing shit with a shit formation, because we was further back in the stadium... silly us...
dannyjpage Posted 18 August 2011 Author Posted 18 August 2011 ohhhhhhhhh.. that solves the mystery.. we all thought we was maybe playing shit with a shit formation, because we was further back in the stadium... silly us... The reasons for including this statement was to merely to back up my point of being close enough to see the players facial expression and a desire to win.

May aswell be endorsed by Dale Winton. there was about 8 foxes on the pitch that quit last night Thats a fair point and im sure others would agree I grew up with the slogan and referenced it to certain decisive games and memories of importance. For some people it will mean more than others, but my real reason for opening this post was purely to try and unite the supporters and get behind the team. At the end of the day we all just want to win. I also want all those kids going to their first game this season to come back and be part of the foxes army. Its not easy being a lifelong supporter of Leicester haha
dobbylcfc Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Cmon city fans it's only been 3 games yea we ain't played well in all 3 tbh but the players need time to gel I personally don't bother looking at the the table until after 7 or so games hopefully we'll get 3 points on sat and start a good run we'll be there at the end of the season in Sven we trust
