Matt Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Sturuggled this week, we were shite against Reading and shiter against Bristol, but can we kick start our season v Forest? Let's bloody hope so. Sven and the players have pressure on their backs but pressure they have bought upon themselves. Prove us wrong and lets fucking shoot up and out of this league. Please. Unfortunatly i'm predicting a pessimistic 2-1 defeat thought, even worse, us scoring first. Nugent....Ooh 150/1. tempted.
psychonaut Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Matt we couldnt possibly get shiter than we were against Reading. Bristol was a slight improvement (positive) Im really not bothered about formations or starting line ups at this point just the points in the bag. My prediction 3 - 1 citeh. Nugent (2) Bamba (1) COME ON LADS NOWS THE TIME TO DROP THE FEAR, STEP UP AND RIP THIS DIVISION A NEW ARSEHOLE
MikeyT Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 It's a ludicrous thought to think that the manager and players have a lot of pressure on them at this stage of the season heading into only the 4th league game, but have to agree that this is the case. Two very, very poor performances coming into a big local derby, the captain being dropped after only one of those bad performances, plus St. Ledger having a mare in the last one, looks for a below confident centre half pair albeit only one of them will play alongside Bamba. Would like to think they can rise above it though and go into this game, knowing how important it is to get something from it and how important it is to the fans to get at the very least, a point, and that obviously goes for all the players. I reckon the players will want to get some pride back today and think we will start well and play well throughout the game. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say we will have a narrow 0-1 win. Nugent with the goal.
LCFC OK Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Come on chaps FFS. if we all turn looking like were already beat how will the players react? Your club needs you, let's get behind the boy's make some noise and chop down the trees. Come on you blues.... UTF!
Vacamion Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 I don't know why, but I have an optimistic feeling about this one. Come on City!
1964FOX Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Our 4000 need to make some positive noise this afternoon. We need to be 100% behind them today. Forget the last two matches we know we have the quality to beat any team in this division. Everyone should tweet the players and give them support, encourage them not boo them. Let's hope we can shut up all those on this forum who have their doom and gloom posts ready, I'm sure there are several on here who have them typed out ready to copy and paste should things go wrong today.

Don't you worry about that.. The team will get the fantastic away support we always give them. Do you go yourself? Some of the threads about the fans not getting behind the team are ridiculous, especially away from home when the 'blue army' never fails to impress. How about the manager and the team giving us all something to be proud of today? You bet if we get in front at forest the noise in our end won't stop.. Yes... Sven, Derek, and the team... Give us fans something to sing about.. and get a win

Guest Col city fan Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 yes I do go not missed a match home or away for nearly two years. Then you should know the great away support we get?

Cheer up nick you sound like you've fallen into a bucket of tits and come out sucking your thumb.. Were gonna do well today I can feel it in mi watter... Is that sufficiently positive and unconditional for ya you miserable sod?
Fox 4 Life Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Good news is forest have been just as bad as us, they are struggling to score so could see this one being close, need a big game from the midfield
1964FOX Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Then you should know the great away support we get? Yes I do, but no harm in getting everyone up for it. I shall now go and lubricate my chanting voice down the pub. If I had the wings................
marbelladave Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 After all the crap on the M1 the other night, thought I might try the train today, over bloody £50 for a day return.... No wonder everybody drives....... so it's up the M1 we go...... See you later.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Its definately to our advantage being away from home. It'll be Forest with the pressure of 20,000 or so fans rather than us, which at this time may just suit us.
somebum Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 I'd be very surprised if we didn't win today. McClaren is in the process of destroying another side with dull negative football and if there is one person more inept than Sven in this league it is the wally with the brolly.
jonthefox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Reading and brizzle are behind me now. so being confident again i reckon a sneeky 1-0. king.

Never been Forest away, i'm fully expecting to arrive back into Leicester with no voice left at all. Hope we sing all the way through, i'd take a 1-0 win now!
whitlock Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Bristol did it, two shite games and then came to our place and walked with 3 points, can't see why we can't do it

Hope your first game is one to remember.
