After Maynard's first on Wednesday Stringer said, 'Leicester's disasterous start to the season continues'. At that point we'd played 3, won 2 and lost 1.Get a ****ing grip. I agree. That was awful commentary. Hardly a disastrous start. We need a bit longer to gel and get a striker. But we'll be fine.

Subs: weale,gallagher,st ledger,abe,schlupp putting a quality left winger in that side for Wellens (and having a clear front 2 of Vassell and Nugent) and that would be a side to really get at teams, especially at home - given our hopeless chasing of any centre forwards maybe we should concentrate on getting a wide player or two in, and give Vassell a run of games down the middle to form a partnership with Nugent. As it stands, what he has picked today still smacks of Sven starting from the perspective of putting what he considers his first choice players into the XI and worrying about a formation afterwards. Edit - happy to indulge in word-eating at 4.55!
