Twitter Abuse

I'll pay you £20k a year and only occasionally take a dump in your mouth.

Gally is probably on £20k/month. How he or Hayley get their kicks should remain between them.

Many of those "morons" fund her lifestyle.

Why should she have a problem with them?

Just because someone partially funds your lifestyle does not give them carte blanche to be able to abuse you as much as they want. If my boss talked to me like people on twitter have spoken to footballers, then he'd be nursing more than me calling him a "moron".

Bizarrely I believe some people tend to take offense when their love ones are abused. Weird I know.

You've made a good point, I've partially financed Gally's lifestyle, so I think I'll knock on his door later, take a shit in his living room and ask politely if I can have a go with his wife. Seems only fair, why should he have a problem.

I can't believe more people abused Gally for a ten minute cameo where he hardly got the ball rather than a keeper who totally lost his discipline that cost us three points.

Silencing his critics

He may think that's what he's doing - but a free-kick goal in the League Cup against Bury has not convinced me he's worthy of a place in the starting XI.

Can see why he did it though...plenty of internet warriors out there.

Have you not read this topic? It was started because lots of fans we're abusing Gally for his performance vs Forest.

As a matter of fact no I have not read the topic.

My bad for not trawling through 5 pages to find out what it meant, I guess.

because too many ****tards were abusing him

I don't understand how people can call themselves fans when they abuse the people that run the club! Without them they wouldn't have anyone to support. Yes Mills hasn't had the best of starts but there's no reason to more or less scare him off twitter! It's fvcking ridiculous.

I think most of it was the Reading 'fans'.

Mind you this goes for all the players at the club. They have accounts to be more interactive with the fans and they can't do that if they're just going to be abused.

Surely its to be expected that if you sign up for a social network there are going to be a few idiots on. I thought you could block people or at least report them. I have started to use twitter again. No probs so far.

I wanted a birthday tweet off Matt Mills seeing he's my favourite player but that's just not going to happen now! :(

The problem is booing him and abusing him isn't going to make him any better, or improve his confidence! If my boss came up to me and started booing me and shouting at me for making a mistake I would be pissy and Mardy with him! This would also make me angry and make even more mistakes!

Players need time to gel in to a team and I know everyone is saying this but the fact is you need time to get a great centre back pairing and the only time this happens is if he plays Bamba and Mills and lets them get to know each others game and play off one another. When one player shines it gives confidence to other players.

Morning Foxes,

What a difference a couple of weeks away on holiday can make. After the high of beating you guys, I come back and your season seems to be kicking on where as ours has gone into reverse.

I think Mills was right to delete his account, probably upon some pretty good advice.

Yes I was one of the Reading fans giving him stick at the King Power a few weeks ago and as far as we were concerned it was mission accomplished that day. The Reading fans clearly got to him and he probably played his worst game he'll play all season.

What followed on twitter, from a small yet large enough amount of RFC fans, with the abuse and pretty much vile comments was completely childish and disgusting behaviour.

Ok, Mills is a highly paid professional but he's still a relatively young lad. That sort of abuse must get in your head and I think it did straight after our game, this probably being more the reason for him being dropped for the following game.

Some Reading fans were even posting abuse on his Mrs account! How would any of us be able to concentrate on anything let alone our job with all that going on.

Although I'm with most other Reading fans and was not Mill's biggest fan, no one deserved that sort of twitter abuse, keep it to the terraces ( ok seats ) Well done Mills for coming through it, thats probably the worst he will ever get. Now to concentrate on being the captain of Leicester City.
