One Arm Babba Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Not literally on his way to England this second you cheb end!!! What's a cheb end? I merely asked a question. A civil answer would have sufficed.
eye666 Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 We'll never get all three. Wouldn't put it past Sven to get his wicked way... :sge:
Saxondale Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Wouldn't put it past Sven to get his wicked way... :sge: If they were women, he'd get them all.
Lisburn Fox Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Is it possible for us to get Jelavic and Beckford? My thoughts as well maybe stretching it but not out of the question 4-3-3 NJ as target Nugent n Beckford in support start defending from the front it all makes sence now, although Kebe would be an awesome foyle for NJ our very own Batman n Robin!!!
Guest Bilo Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 You fancy Beckford on the wing then? Not so much on the wing as on the left of a three man attack. Failing that, a two man partnership with Nugent/Jelavic if he signs with perhaps Dyer and Kebe on the wings of a four man midfield. Massive amount of pace to deal with.
Callabinho Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 IF which we wont, got all three players I can see Gally leaving on loan, where would he play?
Happy Fox Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 IF which we wont, got all three players I can see Gally leaving on loan, where would he play? Gally won't leave we need at least 2 options either side of the front three if we are playing 4-3-3

Love the sound of that 4-4-2 with Dyer and Kebe on the wings, doubt Sven would opt for that system though with the amount of central midfielders we have I'm probably one of the minority thinking this but I really hope Gally doesn't get pushed out as, on his day, he is one hell of a player. Kitchandro Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 IF which we wont, got all three players I can see Gally leaving on loan, where would he play? I can't see how all 3 would fit in tbh. I wouldn't want either of the strikers out wide, in a diamond there's no position for wide men like Kebe, and we need another winger for a flat 4-4-2, not just Kebe.

As excited as i am at the prospect of all these players coming to city, I'm concerned as to where they would all fit in. Having said that, we haven't got anyone in yet!
Brainy Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Seems like rubbish to me, as someone said the person who said he was on his way down to England was all very confused about it all, not to mention her reasoning about an hour ago that he might be on the verge of signing for us was cause they rejected our 6.5m bid.

Rangers have rejected a £6.5million bid for striker Nikica Jelavic from Championship outfit Leicester City.Jelavic joined the Scottish champions last summer for £4million on a four-year deal, from Austrian giants Rapid Vienna. The Croatia international was an immediate hit at Ibrox, scoring an incredible 18 goals in 27 appearances and his quality has started to attract attention south of the border. "The squad is finally being built up and we have more numbers and quality in the squad. Hopefully, if we can keep everybody at the club, we can go on to do well this season."
Guest BlueBrett Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Did we actually go back in with 7.5/8 million or is that just hearsay?

Raw Dykes Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 I think Shrek (top-left) would be handy at centre-half.
