Dan LCFC Posted 11 April 2012 Author Share Posted 11 April 2012 To be fair if there's something to play for then there's no chance it'll be boycotted admittedly, but £36 is quite frankly an absolute disgrace, especially when they treat you like a total arsehole for 90 minutes too. I'm never ever going again whilst Bates is there.
wbrown Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 Outrageous £25 for Under 16s now debating whether to go this or if we get in play offs the play off away leg we all know were this money is going straight into the back of Ken bates is pocket
HEGGSY Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 Can't make this anyway as I'm in Mablethorpe watching my brother play in footy tournament. But I doubt I'd go even if I could at those prices.
Dan LCFC Posted 11 April 2012 Author Share Posted 11 April 2012 I'm in Skegness admittedly but said the whole time I wouldn't be going to this, was kind of glad in a way it fell on this weekend as it's often decent craic there with tonnes of different clubs fans. Bilo Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 £36 is a disgrace but unfortunately I'm inclined to agree with Ric. We need as many fans as we can with vociferous support if we need the points for the play-offs. Elland Road might be a shocker of an away day, but this could be vital. Bin it off if we're nowhere near the play-offs though, come to Skeggy for the weekend or something.

Leicesterpool Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 If we don't beat Millwall come saturday I can't see many going. Even if we do beat Millwall It won't be a sell out probably around 3,000 will be going, if it's a nothing game then around 1,500 will travel. God blimey I've spent alot of money recently on football!, just spent £40 on railfare today paying for my ticket to London on saturday another £40 for spending money on the day. How much is the train fare going to be for Leeds?! I think the club should give us free foxes travel, due to the cost.
body102 Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 I was all up for this one but i am now going to save my money hopefully for the playoffs . The lad an myself would be £61 plus travel ,thats a 5th of what my season ticket cost . Daylight robbery
goose2010 Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 Win sat and Tuesday I will go lose either I won't! Might sound bad but can't justify 100 odd quid for what is basically a friendly.

ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 but who knows, LCFC might reduce them cause they want a vocal support (the same way Stoke did with Liverpool in the Cup!)

LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 11 April 2012 Share Posted 11 April 2012 http://www.footballg...m/leeds_united/ Away fans are now housed on one side of the John Charles Stand (towards the South Stand), in the upper tier where up to 3,000 supporters can be housed. We no longer need the points, therefore no need to line Ken Bates pockets and justify his pricing structure.

I was highlighting these words because Bilo was saying fans should go when we had a good chance for the play-offs but then supported a boycott on the grounds of high prices when the chances of the play-offs diminished to almost nothing.
