Congratulations, you have won the 'FoxesTalk twat of the month' award. :appl:

Why has he? Its his opinion? You voice your opnion on here, and people don't call you a twat. Bit unfair.

I get his point. Weale is poor at penalty saving (poor at everything else as well near enough) and I don't have confidence at all when he is in goal, and never ever have done, ever since he joined. He has saved, what, 2 if I recall - Manchester City and Middlesbrough, and even both of them were poor penalties.

I'd rather have Ricardo on the bench, he would have been happy on the bench if we didn't force him out due to our moronic fans.

Agree.

He could of done better with the headed goal, and he got beat from outside the box for the other...Again.

My only issue with him last night was that he has no presence at all when facing penalties. You just felt like the Cardiff players would have to miss the target for us to progress, rather than Weale making a save.

As said previously, the only two penalties he's ever saved for us were both poorly taken. The ones he faced last night weren't, but I wish he'd commit himself to a dive, one way or the other, rather than just seem to collapse on the spot.

Oh yeh, if only we still had Ricardo we'd not only be in the 4th round of the Carling Cup, we'd also have maximum points. Sven wanted to keep him because he was faultless and ridiculously impressive but because of our fans he didn't. Why oh why.

Twat.

Nice post.

Our moronic fans hounded him out of the club, he wasn't great but I'd sooner he was on the bench than Weale.

To be fair to Weale, at least he is consistently poor, you do know what to expect.

Ey?

Ricardo would have been back-up to Schmeichel - and he'd have been better at it than Weale.

What can you really blame Ricardo for, the 3rd v Norwich at most? Compare that to Weale and: Forest Away last season, Forest away this season, Derby away 2009/2010, Watford away last season, Palace at home last season...

The fact that Weale is being blamed here shouldn't be the issue should it? Didn't we go out because Fernandes blasted his over the bar? Wait...no we conceded in the 82nd min of normal time as well...

It's a team effort and the fact that we didn't hold on to our lead should be what's concerning not the fact we didn't win the shoot-out...pens are a lottery anyway.

Yes he's not the best keeper in the world but he's only our back-up. People need to stop looking for the easy scape-goat all the time when we lose.

My god we have some of the most fickle fans in the world...

Can we please stop using the excuse that 'he's only our back-up'.

What happens if Schmeichel gets a red or injured?

Do we really want Weale dropping a bollock in every game he plays?

Sven has stated that he wants 2 players for every position, Weale is clearly not good enough for us anymore.

Whose bench was he warming before we signed him?

Then we put Howard in net

Oh right then, we tried Kirkland and he was broken, so let's not bother again.

I'm with Bugg, Ricardo would be better.

You forgot Carl Ikeme as well, who was also gash for us

Come January he should be gone, I've heard Yeovil are looking into getting him back.

He has saved 1 peno for us ever and that was against Tevez n thaty was luck as he went the worng way but it cannoned off his leg face it he cost us at forest twice n derby and every peno going

GET RID :)

Hate to do this but.....julio arca's penalty last seasons makes it two.

maybe he is not the best goalie but come on it's the championship!!! he is only second choice, not like we are going to get someone like sorenson to be our reserve goalie.

Thats the issue, we should have been able to see the game out.

However, people don't use players as scape goat's, its just a reaction to a bad result. Nobody likes loosing. Add to the fact, Weale is poor and I've never rated him.

That was also a bad penalty.

Two key points here:

1. Weale isn't good enough. We all know this, but this has absolutely nothing to do with yesterday's defeat because...

2. The fact we lost the shoot-out was not Weale's fault. If you absolutely have to blame someone (and I'd rather you didn't), then blame Fernandes, who was the only person on the pitch that missed a penalty. But then because he's a decent player, he's not an easy scapegoat, is he?

I've literally never seen someone look so good then so poor in the space of about a year.

It's actually incredible.

Thought the same thing.

It's a staggering loss of self-confidence, he needs a new club and start for his own sake more than anything.

I notice the Weale fans of last season, that gobbed off continually, have diverted away from him now.

Or maybe they don't want to dignify such a moronic thread by their presence.

The Weale hate is repulsive. Schmeichel or Iker Casillas couldn't have saved any of yesterday's spot-kicks.

I can´t say I like Weale but he is our second goalkeeper so if you and also mee is a LEICESTER Fan so back him up it is the team not each player!

SOO come up stanbd back your (my) team!
