He needs a fresh start at a new club. We should sell him in January to a League 1 club and wish him all the best. Don't know who should replace him but hopefully someone at the KP does. One penalty out of 14 was missed. I highly doubt that if we had gone through the Cardiff fans would be blaming Marshall for not saving a penalty. You can criticise Weale for some terrible errors, but not for this, imo.

He doesn't get near any penalty or long shot, the semi final wasn't his fault but his attempts at saving pens in the shootout were pathetic and now tonight. Having seen his joga video maybe it has something to do with a previous injury is why he literally can't dive across the goal or basically save shots. I'm not surprised they've scored every penalty I'd certainly fancy my chances.

Legend_in_blue Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 I agree that you cannot blame Weale entirely for the outcome of this shootout but I'd still of expected he try something to put off the penalty takers, even if he didn't manage to get near any of them. Had Kasper been in goal he would have used some gamesmanship to psych out the opposing player. Weale I can imagine just stood there like little red riding hood. Please don't hurt me...

League 1 goalkeeper, who has cost us time and time again with petty mistakes. More to blame for the playoffs than Kermo
