Walshie is God Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 What happens if we score in the first five minutes ot a fvucking prayer of us scoring in the first 5 minutes!!
cambridgefox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Most Coventry fans have boycotted 90 mins for seasons
TavLegend Posted 26 October 2011 Author Posted 26 October 2011 Wilfried Zaha backs the campaign. A little something ahead of Saturday.
TavLegend Posted 26 October 2011 Author Posted 26 October 2011 This evening Crystal Palace's part of the 72 unite campaign has been noticed. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-sport/football/article-24002586-selhurst-fans-join-youth-protest.do Plus another great way of telling the fans.

Petchy Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Do you think I give a **** about that right now? It's now or never - either we kick up a storm with the proposed day of action or we take it on the chin and see a whole generation of local lads snapped up before they ever become Palace/Leicester players... This will be the biggest ever fan action in Europe if we show unity and Government etc. will have to take note disgusting proposals - time to make a stand! And with that line, I've come to the conclusion you're a massive twat. Whilst it was off topic, wouldn't have hurt you to give an answer. Goodbye.
Godzilla Gorilla Pimp Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 boycotting 5 minutes is one of the worst ideas i have seen. typical English..
21st Century Fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 To show my disdain, I shall be wearing a pink scarf to the match, that'll show those corporate fat cats.
TavLegend Posted 27 October 2011 Author Posted 27 October 2011 If you support your club, you'll support the campaign. If you don't think that 5 mins will do anything your wrong. It's obviously starting to get media attention which we want, the media are becoming aware of what we are about & what our intentions are. We've got Boro, Forest, Palace, Shef Wed & more clubs which are doing the same. We will never know the affect of the 5 min protest if we don't try. If it doesn't, it doesn't & we'll have to come up with a plan B. But if it does then this is the start of something big. THIS IS JUST THE START!
sg6 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 What a silly idea, our team needs all the support it can get at the moment, what are the players gonna think when they see no away supporters there at the start on Saturday? If you want national papers involved why not send letters to them and other journalists? Anyway we voted in favour I think so can't be that bad for us.
EnglishOxide Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 boycotting 5 minutes is one of the worst ideas i have seen. typical English.. That is one of the worst posts i've ever seen. Typical English. Why do you think nothing ever changes in this country? It's because people like you are happy to sit on your arse and ridicule everything rather than getting out there and actually trying to make a difference. And more empty seats will make a difference. People will notice, people will wonder what it's about, find out about the cause, etc and go from there. The players, i imagine, are going to wonder what it's all about. And maybe they could jump on board with the campaign after the match. I'm pretty sure they would be uplifted by fans flooding back into the section after 5 minutes though. Also, what is with this 'pull the ladder up jack, **** the rest' attitude of our supporters? Disgusting.

iancognito Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Needs things like players warming up in The 72 Unite shirts or bibs where they'll get pictured too but I don't know how that would go down with the clubs themselves if they have internal rules regarding what players can or can't promote?

Also, what is with this 'pull the ladder up jack, **** the rest' attitude of our supporters? Disgusting. This issue highlights some of the tensions between the fanbase. Where do we want to be in five years' time? Up with the giants of the game - the Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Liverpool? Or stuck in the backwaters of the lower leagues with the likes of Accrington, Barnet and Torquay? Our owners are investing heavily in improving academy facilities at Belvoir Drive in order to prepare for these changes. As long as we have the revenue streams in order to sustain them (which we'll only secure through promotion) the changes will be of long-term benefit to our club. I don't recommend getting involved in the protest on Saturday and I doubt West Ham fans will be supporting it either.
Daggers Posted 29 October 2011 Posted 29 October 2011 Zero impact today. Little coverage prior and no media coverage after the event, was there any impact during any games? Personally, once the vote was taken I'd have said it was game over.
purpleronnie Posted 30 October 2011 Posted 30 October 2011 Palace fans actually did something, call ultra groups all you like but at least their not a load of apathetic lazy fookers:- first 5 mins after Maybe if we had more groups like this in england the fans woul;dnt be continually shit on from a great height.
