somebum Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Did any of you schmucks booing and calling for your managers head hear the Man Utd fans singing their teams name at the end of a major drubbing against local rivals - can you imagine what the ' we were brilliant in League 1' mob would have done if that had happened to us. We are supposed to be Leicester fans - this board is a disgrace - support Leicester or sod off I'd counter that but i'd be wasting my energy. You really are clueless.
seenitall Posted 23 October 2011 Author Posted 23 October 2011 Pathetic post. Cannot possibly have watched many games this season because the tone of your post suggests the negativity stems alomst solely from our 3-0 defeat yesterday. You have failed to realise how mediocre/poor we have been virtually all season and that the Millwall result is simply the straw that breaks the camel's back for many people. So you will only be happy with great performances - jeez, 2 defeats in 9 is not that bad - sod the performances - ahh, straw that breaks the camels back - pretty sure that was getting relegated to league 1 Donut, yet we're still all here aren't we - don't sulk because we're not top of the league all the time and try to support your team
Guest shearfox Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Apparently not - its less than 2 you know, please note there is a web page at lcfc.com that has the statistics if your brain can't remember the results from week to week Home games... Read the post I quoted and it becomes clear we are talking about home matches.
seenitall Posted 23 October 2011 Author Posted 23 October 2011 I'd counter that but i'd be wasting my energy. You really are clueless. energy wasted - good to get you going - will you be happy or sad if we do go up with Sven = sad
seenitall Posted 23 October 2011 Author Posted 23 October 2011 Home games... Read the post I quoted and it becomes clear we are talking about home matches. I was agreeing with you
Donut Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Dur, and there i was thinking we had only lost one in 8 before yesterday - I am sure I am watching a different league to you lot - the point is most were kissing Svens arse after Derby game and then wanting his head after Millwall Just try and bit a bit more grown up kids - its only football and even Man U lose - the fact you are 2 points off play offs when playing mediocre (like we did against Derby??) suggest we will be shit hot and well placed for when the results come - if you can't wait sod off and support a glory team like Man Utd - oh wait a minute, I mean City now right? Dunno about 1 defeat in 8, you sound like you have an IQ of about 8, and the four wins in a row refers to home wins, so before you put someone down who is correct think before you engage your pondlife brain or even better stop contributing to this crap thread
Guest shearfox Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 I was agreeing with you Sorry, certainly didn't pick up on the sarcasm in your post

Guest DavidJCW Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Just going back to the very first post... The similarities between Leicester and Man Utd end at the fact that we both lost this weekend... this is a pointless and thoughtless thread baring absolutely no relevance whatsoever to our treatment and support of our team. I'm not one who would boo our team regardless of how poor we are so I get your idea of sorts, but this is not the way to make your point.
flowwolf Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Worst. Thread. Ever. Honestly, and i thought I'd seenitall. What's a nitall? :giggle:
iancognito Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Man Utd fans generally don't see bad home performances, I'm sure they can cope with one in about 20. Pathetic post. I am not calling for Sven out based on one fvcking result. I'm basing it on the fact we've looked ordinary, dis-organised and mediocre despite having one of the best wage/transfer budgets this league's ever seen. Yesterday was just exemplifying everything that has gone wrong so far. WTF Yeah being 19 times league champions as well as current champions is exactly the same situation. Good point, well raised I think the fact Fergie has a full cabinate of trophys compared to our blue carpet and dusty shelves buys him a little more time than Sven, plus the fact United went down to 10 men. I haven't called for Svens head, half of last season, a full preseason, millions spent can anyone tell me if it was, Rob Kelly, Martin Allen, Hollohead, Sousa etc etc, they would have got this amount of time............................ Sven is living off his long since gone track record, he hasn't achieved anything of note since his Lazio days. I think he needs to win at WHU now or he may suffer the same fate as many before. Do you have a clue? People who want Sven out, a little bit of me included, are not basing it on one result. I knew this would happen All of the above. Maybe it's too early to call for the guy's head but I've said all along that if we weren't in the top 6 at the end of October then he'd be under massive pressure. And by the way, it was Sven who started it off by saying that promotion was a must and that was the target. Losing 3-0 at home to Millwall isn't the problem, being 13th after nearly 3 months of the season is the problem. Never mind the fans, the guys in the board room that have spent over 10 million on players will be wanting results for their money. Right now I can name 10 different managers that would have done a better job than Sven, for half his money and spending far less than he's done. As for United being clapped & applauded, I've said in another thread that I've clapped & applauded many times over the years even when we've been outplayed or been unlucky against better opposition. So far this season I've seen us against Reading, Bristol, Southampton and Millwall. I've spent about £120 on tickets etc and seen about 45 minutes of decent football for it. The rest has been disorganised, inconsistent, tactically inept and at times spineless crap. When the players and manager start earning their money, I'll stay til the end and applaud them.
mbmb10 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Agree let's get behind Sven, we have a great team and the last thing we need to do is chop and change. I mean we are 5 points off the playoff with loads of games to go, we are treating it like we are fighting a relegation battle. Wait till the end of the season if we are struggling at the bottom, moan all you want. I think people are expecting us to be like Chelsea and Man utd and win every week, we are nowhere near that class of football! let's show our support and get behind the squad!

Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Maybe, just maybe that's because they're used to seeing great performances from their team. Last seasons home record was 55pts from a possible 57. If I'm paying good money to watch city I'll vent my spleen in any which way I like (within the law). And as for calling for heads, I want Sven out cus he's shit, overrated and under achieving considering the money he's paid & spent.

Bored of these "support Leicester or sod off" comments now. Very very tedious

Raj Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Your right mate, support the team.... I can imagine Sir Alex having his arm around Rio F after the 6-1 defeat and "supporting him" Get a grip. The players get praise and ajulation(sp) whenthey do well....they deserve ABIT of critisism when they are crap. If i fcuk up at work,my manager doesnt put his arm around me and say never mind. Man up
Corky Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Spot on mate, real fans support the team and manager through thick and thin I do, however if I'm not happy with what I've seen then I will say so. There are ways of losing games. If we had created numerous chances and playing good football and lost 1-0 then you say we weren't far off and a bit unlucky. But we were comfortably beaten 3-0 creating I recall two clear cut chances. I don't want the manager to go but I sure want an imporvement in the style of play and the general performances.
Lambert09 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 We have been getting better, everyone can see that, Millwall was a blip, stop throwing your toys out the pram.........spoilt springs to mind, give the man till xmas....if we are not comfortably in the play-offs then boot him, I personally cant wait to see us beat West ham on sat and see all the fans saying he is the best thing since MON.....stop making decisions on one game jeeeeeeez
accessory Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 We are supposed to be Leicester fans - this board is a disgrace - support Leicester or sod off It's VILLAS-Boas. And yes I AM a Leicester fan - doesn't mean I have to kiss the backsides of every gold-digger or mercenary that may attach themselves to us from time to time.
