stuartn27 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 svens gone.....deal with it...... lets get behind the boys at West ham...... dont want to hear any svens songs....wasnt upto scratch and the thai boys did what they did for the good of LCFC
Saxondale Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 No. I think we could have a Martin O'Neill song once during the game, but more importantly, cheer on the lads. O 'Neill Martin O'Neill You make me happy When skies are black And now that Sven has Sadly departed Won't you please, oh please Come back
LcFc_Smiv Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 He wasn't good enough end of, we dint sing Pearson songs (not that I can remember) when he was forced out in what I'd call a more controversial fashion. There's no need for it, it's done it's over, get behind the coaching staff and get behind the players, as of now their the lads that are going to be the ones to get us up there not a previous manager.
Callabinho Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Great Idea, Piss the owners off, they **** off then were playing coalville town.
Bilbo Posted 26 October 2011 Author Posted 26 October 2011 Wow some people need to chill the **** out. A simple song to show some appreciation for Sven and all of a sudden it's the very dimise of Leicester City FC. No one is disputing that we need to get behind the team/coaching staff, that much is obvious, it was simply a suggestion because to be honest which manager is going to want to come to a club that has a one of the biggest turnover of managers in the league and where you can be sacked just because you aren't "walking" one of the toughest leagues in football. Might be nice to show that we have some loyalty in the club.
The Guvnor Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 i'm with the majority on here it's a middle finger to the owners bad idea
Bilbo Posted 26 October 2011 Author Posted 26 October 2011 i'm with the majority on here it's a middle finger to the owners bad idea "Middle Finger" might be a bit extreme. It might show them that the way to get out of this league isn't to simply fire any manager that struggles early on. The owners have already got rid of two managers, managers they appointed and in my opinion the majority of the time it writes off the season. Everyone is hopng that Martin O'Neill becomes our new manager, myself included, but we all remember how he started out. If his reign had been under our current owners he would've been fired and we would have missed out on one of the most successful periods in the clubs recent history.

Just like your sex life, you will be doing it on your own, or maybe with your blown up doll and that black monster cock dildo you have!!!
Babylon Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 No ta... he's gone, move on. Rob Kelly was a nice chap and we didn't sing him name.

Sven had 13 months in charge not 3 and probably spent more in that time than MON did in four and a half years! A legacy of a lower-half place, in this league, just isn't good enough.
Bilbo Posted 26 October 2011 Author Posted 26 October 2011 Just like your sex life, you will be doing it on your own, or maybe with your blown up doll and that black monster cock dildo you have!!! Don't judge others by your own standards big man!
Babylon Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Sven had 13 months in charge not 3 and probably spent more in that time than MON did in four and a half years! Nope.
blueblood88 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Would be a stupid idea, for all you know our new manger could well be at the game! Paulo Sousa was at the Cardiff play-off game, and no-one had the slightest clue that he was the new manger in waiting.

If our new manager was in the stands then by singing one round of Sven's name might show him that the fan's would still appreciate the work said manager did if he were to suffer the same fate as Sven and alleviate some of the pressure.
Dr The Singh Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Don't judge others by your own standards big man! I have no standards!!!!!!!!!
Master Fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 I have no standards!!!!!!!!! ^ I can vouch for that.

Simply making the point that any loyalties should lie with the owners, and in the present footballing climate I think we are extremely lucky to have such wealthy enthusiastic owners, and can't see the logic in potentially pissing them off. Mandaric would have been extremely influential for Sousa's appointment so the owners can't be held to account for that. Managers are like it or not judged on performances, sven was clearly struggling in a number of areas to manage the team and if you can't cut the mustard cheerio.

I appreciate what you are saying, however by that logic Martin O'Neill would have been seen as "not cutting the mustard" and been given the boot.

Comparing MON with Sven is like comparing a fine bottle of Chateauneuf du pape with a bottle of cheap Lidl plonk with all due respect of course
Bilbo Posted 26 October 2011 Author Posted 26 October 2011 Comparing MON with Sven is like comparing a fine bottle of Chateauneuf du pape with a bottle of cheap Lidl plonk with all due respect of course I'm not comparing the managers, just the situation they were both in and the outcome of it.
Burmesefox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army, This. If MON is still in the running we should sing it all game against the Hammers - nothing else. The pres'll cotton on to it quickly and MON will hear about it - may just make the difference. As fans it's all we can do.
accessory Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Depends whether another manager's in place by then. If he is, we should support him.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Sing a song about Sven!?! Why sing about someone who failed?
Dylan Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Would love a few songs for O'Neill if we don't have another manager in place by then!
Father Ted Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 In respect for our beloved Sven I shall be starting the Sven chant at West Ham. Who's with me? Grow up and move on in life. Stop sulking like a little baby.
