Bilbo Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 In respect for our beloved Sven I shall be starting the Sven chant at West Ham. Who's with me?
Finnegan Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 If we've got a new manager in place by then, I wouldn't. Not particularly encouraging, is it? If we don't have a new manager in place and he hasn't ruled himself out, I wouldn't be surprised if more people are singing MON's name anyway.
Corky Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Not me. He's gone, whether you agree with it or not. We need to support the people still at the club.
flowwolf Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 No it's a non starter. He has gone deal with it and get behind the stand in manager and then the new manager life is to short.

No I agree, if we have a new manager I won't be singing it, however if not I thought it would be a nice gesture just to let him know a lot of us appreciated the time he spent at the club.
whoareyaaa Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 If MON hasnt delcared himself out, should deffo start a song up on him!! let him know!
somebum Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 In respect for our MY beloved Sven I shall be starting the Sven chant at West Ham. Who's with me? Not me
The Year Of The Fox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 It'll happen regardless. I won't be joining in. Same here. It's the past. Now, if he manages a team we come up against *cough blackburn cough* I shall sing his name, briefly, then its done
ajthefox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Not me. He's gone, whether you agree with it or not. We need to support the people still at the club. Very much in agreement with this. My opinion of Sven is a decent one but it won't do anyone any good singing for him.
themotivator Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 imagine he gets re hired on the back of a fan base's reaction. has that ever happened before? (im not even close to considering the fact that this would actually happen)
sdb Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Imo the sacking was a bit harsh, but he underachieved. Nice guy but not worth a song. He's gone and he failed to deliver.
flowwolf Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Yeah I will sing him a song " thank fvck your gone now we want MON" :giggle: :giggle:
acooling08 Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Singing Sven's name will be like a giant middle finger to our owners. I'd join in with a Martin O Neil related song.
mbmb10 Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 If we don't have a manager then yes I will join in but only briefly but load. Loved the man *loud
FuriousFox46 Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 I disagree, it's a fitting tribute. Just to sing his name one last time. They caretakers won't mind and the owners would understand. There's no malice intended. It's merely out of respect and fondness.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Don't think we need to give wet spam anymore reasons to laugh at us. Singing the name of the sacked manager would cause the biggest laugh of the day
NeilyBoy Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 If I were there I'd join in. Who cares if the Hammers fans find it funny? I reckon most people with half a grey cell would understand it for the token of gratitude that it is.
lestajigs Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army, Martin o'neills blue White army,
Fox92 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 No. What message will that send to the owners? It's like we are not supporting their decision.
tomtom Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 If you are to try and start it please do it at the end of the game get behind whoevers in charge on the day and the players before and during the match
dannythefox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Lets sing him a song because he was a nice man!
Dr The Singh Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 In respect for our beloved Sven I shall be starting the Sven chant at West Ham. Who's with me? No, i'm not with you!!
TMELcfc Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 No. I think we could have a Martin O'Neill song once during the game, but more importantly, cheer on the lads. They need the fans more now, then when we had a manager. And no boo's towards our own board for f*** sake! They are doing everything they can to push this club forward, yet we get some idiots booing them the night Sven left, pathetic.
