SilverFox Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 Fookin hell, this geezer has had more sightings than Elvis. I smell bullshit...I hope!
brookfox Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 Long time reader first time poster and all that. I saw that red Ferrari driving down near Narborough Road yesterday shortly followed by someone in a 911. Didn't recognise the driver but he was driving like a lunatic!
Bluefoxtim Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 Yeah and I saw Mcmanaman shaking hands with Craig Levein earlier
Gené and Tonic Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 I just saw Rooney coming out of the Walkers, had a smile on his face, and Craig Levein came out soon after. Whats he like? Worth a dabble?
Hazza Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 I don't think that just because he's very well off financially that he's necessarily lost his passion for the game. With the clubs that he's played for, and at his age he could easily retire, but i'd applaud him if he carries on playing at this level as it wouldn't be too attractive and the wages would be pittance in comparison to what he'll have in the bank.

Just seemed the only logical explanation at the time. If anything does materialise, trust City won't have to pick up the car insurance for the Ferrari and 911.
dan_84 Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 Leicester City - England ace linked27 Jun 2005 15:12 Leicester City are being linked with an audacious move for former Real Madrid and England midfielder Steve McManaman. Clubcall understands though that wage demands make the move very unlikely. for the latest call 0904 064 1003 http://www.clubcall.com/vsite/vcontent/con...ws-item,00.html
Collymore Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 I have just seen ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Henry and Junior Lewis come out of the walkers stadium and all get in a monster truck and drive down Narborough road. They all had a copy of a contract pinned to their heads which they had signed with Akinbadbuyis blood. junior Lewis also was craddling a small little water vole. All true

Newcastle_Fox Posted 29 June 2005 Posted 29 June 2005 Just seen them again they must be more of a regular than me! I reckon it may clinch their deal the fact that they will be closer to Maryland.
Molson Canadian Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 any new news on this situation....is he coming or not ?
Guest CL Blue Army Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 Something in the Leicester Mercury says that there has been a rumour. It is going to be in tommorows newspaper it said.

lcfcjake98 Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 it would definately strengthen up our m idfield if he decides to join us? but we stiull need at least one more decent strikler capeable of scoring 15 goals a season. COME ON U FOXES!! cITY TILL I DIE!
shen Posted 2 July 2005 Posted 2 July 2005 It's not gonna happen! We simply can't even get close to giving him decent wages and we don't need him. And I even doubt he would perform anywhere near his ability here anyway.
Raspeir Posted 2 July 2005 Posted 2 July 2005 I seriousley doubt we would bother with McMannaman as we've just brought in Sylla from Celtic (who plays exactly the same position) Just couldnt see the logic in it to be honest, would be interseting to see where Levin would have them both playing if he did join but quite honestly it seems like bad business sense and wasted assets (which i'm sure could be much better allocated elsewhere)
