somebum Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Billy Reid's odds have been slashed to 6/1 For anybody who doesn't know who he is: Billy Reid (born 18 July 1963 in Glasgow) is a Scottish former footballer and is currently manager of Scottish Premier League club Hamilton Academical. In his playing days Reid started off at Queen of the South where he was signed by Nobby Clark.[1] Reid was later remembered by team mate Tommy Bryce as one of the best players at the club.[2] Reid then played for Clyde, Hamilton Academical and Stirling Albion. He has also managed Clyde. Reid won the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year in 2008 after leading Hamilton into the Scottish Premier League.[3] His son, Billy Jnr, was also a footballer, who played for Clyde. His other son, Gary, went to Lenzie Academy.
The Doctor Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Fairly average manager, overachieved for a bit with the accies but I wouldn't say he was good enough for us.

kingfox Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 We were linked with him when Sousa got sacked. Can't see anything now, on the betting sites I go on.
He's not bald Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Never in a million years, very average, if we're being linked with him then the words "barrel and bottom the scraping" and "at clutching despretely straws" need to be re-arranged!
Pookie Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Its not Billy Reid that is 6/1 its Old 'Monkee Head' who is that price with Ladbrokes.
acooling08 Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Who? And having found out who, he can fvck off!!
EnderbyFox Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 The love child of Peter Reid and Billy Davies? no thanks
Babylon Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 Someone has obviously got confused between Peter Reid and Billy Davies, put a few quid on Billy Reid by accident and the bookies have reacted
Mack Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 This is getting silly now. Sod it, give Ken Dodd the job and sign up the Diddymen...

Alf Bentley Posted 31 October 2011 Posted 31 October 2011 I'd prefer Jimmy Reid (in the LCFC dugout and Downing Street): http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/aug/11/jimmy-reid-obituary ...or how about Jim and William Reid from the Jesus & Mary Chain: One of them could be Director of Football. Our passing would be "Just like honey", the opposition would "Never understand" our tactics and we'd be doing some "Candy Talking" under the "April Skies".Honestly, this is all getting too farcical to take seriously... Showaddywaddy, anyone? They have the local connection...with Englebert as Director of Football
lcfc_sam_p Posted 1 November 2011 Posted 1 November 2011 Every tom dick and billy being linked now! Sounds like someone from my local!
