People find him dour but I love his interviews, they make me laugh the same way Mick Mccarthy does. The football is nowhere near as bad as some people make out. Some moan about his transfers, well considering we made a profit on transfer fees in and out whilst winning league one, and then reaching the play offs the next season, it's a great achievement. You can't say for sure whether it will work out like it did first time though. No but it's a calculated risk though and one that i'm more confident in than say an unproven manager like Lee Clark or someone who has failed like Roy Keane. He knows how the club and fans work, he also knows how to change a mentality within a squad. He managed to get players like Fryatt, Howard and Oakley who hadn't achieved anything at Leicester to perform instantly and then we've seen them regress back in to cretinous players once he left. With this squad that we currently have and money to play with, i'm buzzing to see what he can do. I've seldom been bored at the football under Pearson and i'm scratching my head at this reputation he seems to have gotten since he left, I think the only times I got seriously frustrated was when I wasn't at a game. Top, just bung the non-entity's the million and let's have the big man here sharpish.
