HEGGSY Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 General Consensus seems to be that they are very disappointed http://www.ambernectar.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7019&start=180
Finnegan Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Any hilarious shit about sideways moves or them being a massive club? I'm not interested unless there's delusional e-drama from bitter Northerners.
Criggers Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 And ever so slightly angry. Have to admit I'd be pissed if it was the other way around.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 They seem disappointingly well rounded and reasonable on there, unlike the personality disorder afflicted rabble we've managed to assemble at FT. What's our secret?
Lambert09 Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 They seem pretty level headed tbh...much more so than 'leg break mcgee' love the comment about how they couldnt deal with 2 pearsons at the club and this will make their lives easier aha

There is actualy one, I can't remember the whole of it but it genuinely started as follows.. **** Leicester and Pearson - City are massive
Criggers Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 If you go through the whole thread there is a couple of bits referring to us a a circus. The long post about not liking us (or Gary Lineker) but can't not like us for wanting Pearson as he's the best man for the job was quite good. Had to use my mobile again now so can't quote it too easily.
Saxondale Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Can't knock any of them for being a tad irrational, they've just lost a very good manager.
foxfanazer Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Imagine if this backfired and Pearson had it all planned to turn us down and hull were in on it. Don't think we would ever live it down with hull fans. Won't happen tough
accessory Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 And ever so slightly angry. Have to admit I'd be pissed if it was the other way around. What, like it was last year?
TrentFox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 A lack of age restriction. Agreed. Those octogenarians are a foul-mouthed, hate-filled bunch and should be banned.
Babylon Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 When he went there I told them that he didn't really want to leave and was forced because of the relationship breakdowns. They on the other hand were quite sure they had poached him from us because they were a much bigger and better club, with greater prospects and much nicer places to live. When I see the pictures of him back here (should it happen). I am going to take great please in finding those comments and shoving them right down their throats.
MrSpaM Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Think they are going through exactly what we went through when he left in the first place. It's pretty obvious they all value him.
woddyuk Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Should be an interesting couple of away games,, nugent return to pompey and after 6-1 and then pearson back to hull as our manager
Jon the Hat Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Think they are going through exactly what we went through when he left in the first place. It's pretty obvious they all value him. Delusions that their manager is taking a backward step in his career for no apparent reason?

You cannot say that they don't have a lovely sense of humour
martyn Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Think they come across as pretty level headed on the whole matter. Certainly better than our rabble would react on here.
FallenAngel Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Imagine if this backfired and Pearson had it all planned to turn us down and hull were in on it. Don't think we would ever live it down with hull fans. Won't happen tough I would very much doubt he would do this, it would not do his reputation well. If it meant staying at Hull i dont think it would go down to well with them either, would we want a manager that requested to speak to a rival club? The saying, it's the straw the broke the camels back, springs to mind
The Doctor Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 as far as e-drama goes, nothing beats this: I'd be surprised if it doesn't go wrong for him, it's such a sideways, maybe even backwards move, career wise. Leicester are a dreadful club. Money, maybe with a slight dusting of Maguire/Hallam exasperation, must be the only lure in all of this. Let's face it, he'll be working for impatient know-nowt owners who will sack him in they're not promoted by Christmas 2012. He'll also have to go through the motions of settling down a squad full of overpaid egos and shipping out disruptive dressing room influences. I would have thought he'd had enough of that in his first 12 months here. The last line or two are possibly right about settling the squad etc. but the rest is just spitting the dummy out.

You can tell he knows nothing about our club - there is no way Pearson will get until Christmas 2012 to get us promoted

Callabinho Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 It alludes to how Hull can even be mentioned in the same sentence as us, a brief mediocre stint in the PL means **** all, and some people are so naive, not even some of our fans realise how powerful we are as a club. To sack a manager of Svens stature at this level is unheard of. We would have always been a massive part in his career, essentially we are his success story, now he has a chance at his dream job, Leicester city with money.
Yojoe36 Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Half of them seem too far up their own arse. Acting all big cause "little" Leicester took their manager Hull is, and will always be, a shit-hole. Compared to Leicester, it's a dog house. ...I'm still going Hull away though
