So why no announcement of Pearson?

But i'm yet to read a single relevent argument. All i've read is that he's a twat because he used to play Dyer, Weale, Fryatt and Howard. However, the fact we finished 5th with that shower of shite should be commended not ridiculed. What could he do with the squad he will now inherit?

Buy two wingers and a striker that don't Fvcking sulk to start with

For all those folk banging on about Pearson's team being better than the one we have now - You should have gone to the Leeds match to see Wellens, Howard, Gallagher and King - What a load of SHIIIIITE!!!!!!!

I'd have found SOD a far more underwhelming appointment. Though I have a few niggling concerns I'm glad NP is coming back. The fact that Steve Walsh used to scout for Chelsea under Mourinho makes me think that the situation with the increase in funds that NP isn't exactly used to will be in good hands.

Was Pearson in charge for that game ?

And what makes you think Pearson will play those players when he has far more alternatives and money to spend, you miserable cretin.

I know we all have our own opinions but I just don't understand the problem that some people have with us appointing Mr Pearson as manager.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the first season he was here, didn't he take us from League one to Championship as Champions?

And in his second season he took us to a championship play-off semi-final?

Am I missing something?????

Play hard ball and tell them to do one. You think they will want to keep a manager who now has an untenable position?

Though I have a few niggling concerns I'm glad NP is coming back.

I can understand people being slightly underwhelmed, or having concerns (don't we all). But as Ric says I've not seen a decent argument against, especially when you look at the list of people we could have had. They each have their own problems.

BBC say friday.

It was bad enough trying to work out who they would go for.

Nxt the fvcking bookies will be giving odds on when he will sign.

Anyone brave enough to put £500 on that one. :crylaugh::crylaugh: :crylaugh:

All these delays are a real shame as these two weeks would have been ideal for the new Management team to get to know the whole squad and identify areas of concern.

Am I right in thinking that the compensation for managers never runs higher than the total cost of the remainder of their contract? He has 18 months left, there is no way he's on £25,000 a week at Hull. Give them £500,000 and tell them to bell Peter Taylor again.

I agree mate. I am sure he'll be here by the weekend though so that still gives him a week to give them the stare.

The biggest plus point I find with Pearson is Steve Walsh. This guy has a vast knowledge pool of players, when he bought the likes of Mark Davies and Tom Cleverley to the club reminded me of MON bringing in the likes of Savage, Lennon and Izzet. He's also bought in some good players to Hull from Man Utd reserves can't remember the names at the top of my head. Critics of Pearson will say he bought some shite to our club first time around but the majority were good players. Nobody gets 100% right SIr Alex has bought some turds over the years but nobody says hes a bad manager.

Yeah for every argument against theres usually a worse case with any of the other prospective managers that've been named.

Having thought about it more, I'm genuinely looking forward to what Steve Walsh can dig up for us signings wise. Granted Kermogant was attempting to punch well above his weight (his form for Charlton obviously shows his more natural level) but if he can find those kind of unheard of european or home grown players with a bigger budget it could get interesting.
