Saladin Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 The majoirity of Leicester wanted MON but he didn't want us I miss the MON thread too and spending most of my 'working' day, refreshing it for news
fox_favourite Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 To be honest I'm not surprised that the compensation part of it is taking its time. Hull didn't want to lose their man and as it us they think they can get as much out of the Thai owners as they can. I think Hull are just being difficult at the moment and just delaying it for as long as they can. I can imagine it will get done as they will want a new manager as well. Why hang on to a manager that doesn’t want to stay?? As for the previous comments about Steve Walsh, I agree as he is big plus with Nigel. But to be fair the combination of Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh seems to make a good team which each having their strengths and weaknesses. Here’s hoping they all come (which I would assume they will) I was dreading going to the Palace game, but now I just can't wait!!! Nigel Pearson's blue army!! (hopefully)

stourbridgefox Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 If Hull won't agree compensation and Pearson resigns, then I don't think he can become our manager. He would be in breach of contract and unable to work for either club, so I don't think he will walk. That situation could drag on for months before it was resolved. If Hull just want to stop him managing Leicester then not agreeing compensation could achieve this. We wouldn't be able to wait months and would employ someone else. This happened when Holloway left QPR to come to us.

Guest Basildon Fox Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Davies first choice nice... Im the same age as you roughley and I find Bentleys as a bunch of meat head, racists would never join that board. Very happy with Pearson if it comes off. 100% agree with this.
Fox 4 Life Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 SSN just said confirmed end of the week due to compo with Hull, in line with BBC now
Master Fox Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Won't happen. Top will throw down the cheese to resolve it.
Jace Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Nigel should of resigned like when he went to Hull and we recieved £0
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Nigel should of resigned like when he went to Hull and we recieved £0 He didn't resign. We allowed him to go to Hull as MM wanted rid.
Corky Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 For all those folk banging on about Pearson's team being better than the one we have now - You should have gone to the Leeds match to see Wellens, Howard, Gallagher and King - What a load of SHIIIIITE!!!!!!! I don't see what your point is. Pearson's team, results wise, is better than this one. Those players played well for him, they aren't doing so well now. I fail to see how Pearson is linked to the Leeds match.
m00nie Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Radio leicester just reported a snag in the deal to bring pearson back and now it's off, more details to follow on fb... unsure if anything in it.. anyone got access to radio??

Jace Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 He didn't resign. We allowed him to go to Hull as MM wanted rid. Did they not terminate the contract by mutual consent because Pearson wanted to leave?
frozenoak Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 Do be fair stringer said something along those lines last night too. Was that on the radio?
Babylon Posted 9 November 2011 Posted 9 November 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leicester_city/9055151.stm Hmmmm I don't really understand that, why did he need to resign if we had already given them permission to speak to Hull? Because i'm fairly sure he said he was shocked that we gave permission?
