Which means either one of the two will draw the short straw and struggle to impress, or he'll go with Howard. Unlikely to forego the right to more direct football purely because we've only got one forward at the club (except perhaps Waghorn) who's capable of playing it. Like the idea of Peltier at RM. Danns drifted in too much and the midfield was too fragile, Peltier gives it natural width and some beef. If this happens I fancy one of the CBs, rather than Pantsil, to end up at RB. Morrison, Tunchev all did stints at full back. Bamba perhaps when he's back? Surprises me how already many peeps are suggesting players should play out of their natural positions? Did we not learn that this was a problem under Sven??? Peltier is a right back, cannot cross for toffee and will not IMO be the player to get to the byline and deliver a delicious ball to an incoming front two. He's a good right back.. Keep him there and lets start playing round pegs in round holes

Or when we pushed Stearman to right midfield a few times? and Sheehan at left mid? Apart from Gareth Bale, how many full backs move to midfield and do well? Sure some smartarse is going to list a hatful of names now I understand what you are saying but the Huddersfield fans that came on here inthe summer seemed to think that he was equally as good in a midfield position. In my opinion he is far more suited to that role than Gallagher who does not have enough pace to get past a man.

In my opinion he is far more suited to that role than Gallagher who does not have enough pace to get past a man. I thought he played the holding midfield role for Huddersfield?

The width on the right can come from Peltiers overlaping runs and when off the ball danns can cut inside to add some grit in the middle.

I hope Beckford and Nugent start but would like to see more support for them and King given the captains arm band. Perhaps Tunchev given his chance. Beckford, Fernandes, and Johnson to provide something different in the second half. Can Nigel get it right in 4 days?
