monsieur grande Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 What do u think the reception will be like for pearson from the hull fans? and also Pearson has built the team, knows the players inside out, knows nick barmby well, can he capitalise on this knowledge?, or is it just another very tough game and who gets waghorn now !?
cuzzer1990 Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 We get Waghorn, he was only on loan until January and i cant see big Nige letting go a player he loves so much. I think he will get stick tbf
cc_star Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 How ultra-motivated will they be? couldn't be more difficult IMO What do you mean who get's Waghorn? He's our player & signed under contract to us - I'd expect him to return in Jan, maybe sooner if Pearson decides we're short of options up front now Vassell is out, of course Waggy has a knock at the mo, and I'm pretty sure his loan agreement wouldn't allow him to play against his own club too.
Corky Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 He won't get a good reception. And Waghorn is our player and will no doubt return.
Thracian Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 What is this obsession with Waghorn? It is so similar to the obsession with Fryatt. Yes, they are different players but both are extremely limited as I've explained in detail many times, as have many others. No, they are not bad players. At a certain standard they might even be good players. But they are not good enough for where we're aiming to be.

Maybe it's similar to your (former) obsession with Alan Sheehan, who seems to have found his level in the 3rd tier of English football.
Fox in the North Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 Can't wait for this game, I'm a student in Hull and haven't been to a match in a while

Corky Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 Speak for yourself, Waghorn is a bag of crap. Blasphemy.
Yojoe36 Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 If we lose. We'll become still be a laughing stock
Matt Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 Pearson, he's only been on loan, he's only been on loan, he's only been on loan. Gotta get that going! I wanna go to this (especially now) but train prices are horrendous, Fox travel might have to come into consideration this time Unless anyone can suggest a cheap route/deal for trains?

Don't know if it helps but I know a bloke who runs coaches from somewhere near Countesthorpe (I think), doing one for Hull he said, and it's a fairly similar price to FT and whilst I've not actually yet used it (somehow, I don't know), I've heard it's 1mil times better than FT. PM you his number if you're interested.

Guest Col city fan Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 I reckon Nige's reception at Hull will be hostile. Not from the players but from the fans And they will be massively up for it. Then again so will we be... Should be a cracking game. Gotta watch out for McLean if he's playing.. Useful little player

1964FOX Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 We really need to wind the Hull fans up. "we're coming back for Fryatt/Hobbs " "Nigel Pearson is a blue" "on the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me, Waggy back from Hull City" Regardless of if we want them back or not the opportunity to take the piss is too good to miss.
Happy Fox Posted 17 November 2011 Posted 17 November 2011 AndyMedcalf Andy Medcalf Heh. AP's dig at #lcfc at the #hcafc presser today; "We've seen nothing to suggest their Chairman is richer than ours" Bitter c**ts cannot wait till we smash the Dull Shitty
thybluefox Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 You need to get yourself on it, I guarantee you will enjoy it. What's the crowd like on that coach? I'm from Countesthorpe (well, near enough)
Ozwin Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 Yeah I like the sound of this coach too. Anything will be better than FT surely haha

Nigel is getting £8m (apparently.) Who's richer?
1964FOX Posted 18 November 2011 Posted 18 November 2011 What's the crowd like on that coach? I'm from Countesthorpe (well, near enough) Most are in their 40's and have been going to games for years. It's an old fashioned football coach and very enjoyable, not for the feint hearted either.
