Brooksy Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Wellens, Gallagher and Howard? Could get embarrassing today.
Happy Fox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Laff mi arse off.. All this weeks 'speculation' and the only player dropped is Beckford.... Shan't say I told you so.... lol Surprised at Howard in though to be fair We haven't got anyone else in the striker department apart from the inexperienced Schlupp very surprised that Howard is starting would have preffered Beckford hoofball tactics today then
crafty fox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 why doesnt pearson grow a big hairy shiny set set of testicles , full to the brim of man fat!! packed so solid with spunk that veins struggle to cope with the pressure of passing blood over these huge, rock hard, bollocks ! and drop chris weale from the bench this is limiting our ability to change any game ffs. oh and why 'o' why is andy king starting again ??? what did he do last week to warrant a starting place ??? he touched the ball about 8 times in ninety minutes danns or fernandes would have have put far more into the game and perhaps opened up posh. im worried about these poor performances not being recognised and people who geniunely performed of late (beckford could of have had 3 in 2 if not for some great keeping and hitting the woodwork) danns also showed that the other week when coming on to score and contribute something but not getting the praise of a starting place. we will probably win now with a king and howard super show with schmeichel getting injured after 5 mins just to prove me wrong ! anyway moan over c'mon city!
Blueforever Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 If the players play as well as they can do then that midfield is awsome - unfortunately they aren't consistent enough if I was player manager for Leicester I'd have Abe in
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 If Sharp lives up to expectation today he may well be the striker you suggest we need Happy Fox.. Blimey, me and Nige could be brothers!! Only kiddin
RowlattsFox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Not impressed with Howard starting but I'll wait til afterwards before criticising, its still a side capable of winning.
OLD norfox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Looks like Pearson think its gonna be a war today and I think we gonna win it . 3 - 1 . Nugent 2 and King.
crafty fox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Beckford out the the 1st team - good (he needs to find his boots, 1 goal in roughly every 8 & assisting in nothing is just appalling) Danns out the matchday squad altogether - good (one of the worst players I've ever seen) Yuki back in the squad - good Personally I'd have started with Schlupp rather than Howard, but perhaps Pearson thinks Howard will be able to retain posession better than Shitford or Schlupp, which means our midfield might get up the pitch better than usual Mills' ban has ended, not in the squad at all is puzzling, but Tunchev for me is better than Mills/SSL, but obviously that was in Lg1, although he reportedly did well at Palace in this division so I hope we get to see him soon though you my friend are on drugs! and should stop trying to offer your amazing ability of knowing completely nothing about football for the public to laugh at! !
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 In all seriousness it would appear that Pearson may be trying the Howard flick on, Fryatt poaching thing just with Nugent in the poaching role...? We'll see anyway Come on City!! On mi third carling before we go in.. Hic..
Cropwellfox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Hooooooooof I trust NP but god this side shows how much f****** money has been wasted in the 18 months since he left. After Wellens and King's no show last week, for them, Howard, Dyer and Gallagher to be in the team just demonstraes the lack of options despite all the millions spent and wages given.
foxfanazer Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Not too impressed with Howard starting but I agree something needed to change for this game. For me the change would've been Fernandes for wellens. And why do people keep saying mills isn't suspended? He is!
lcfcliam Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 So everybody slates Beckford when he's playing but now everybody misses him now he isn't starting? He has been poor this season and there is no doubt about that, he is probably better off coming on in the second half to nick a winner!

He has been poor this season and there is no doubt about that, he is probably better off coming on in the second half to nick a winner! people probably missing him because he shown in recent weeks there is more to come, hope he gets a good run if he does come on

We have plenty of options in the middle of the park, king, wellens, fernandes, abe, johnson, danns But pearson seems hell bent on ignoring the rest of them and playing the same midfield weve had for years, despite there poor performances
cc_star Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 you my friend are on drugs! and should stop trying to offer your amazing ability of knowing completely nothing about football for the public to laugh at! ! I'm just about the only person who's spoke sense whilst everyone else is in some wellens/king/howard induced rage... like someone/danns/beckford have ever done anything remotely appraoching average for us the bubbling hate mob is full of jokers
lcfcsnow Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 So everybody slates Beckford when he's playing but now everybody misses him now he isn't starting? He has been poor this season and there is no doubt about that, he is probably better off coming on in the second half to nick a winner! I look forward to games all week, despite an awful performance last week I expect changes would be made but understandable ones. Yes Beckford has been poor, but Howard just ruins any excitement I had. (most of which went when Pearson came back but I live in hope). A blind man could see the midfield needs shaking up weeks ago, but it hasn't happened again.
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 We've supposedly got a strong, large and capable squad and yet our team selection would suggest otherwise. As things stand we won't even make the play-offs.

After Wellens and King's no show last week, for them, Howard, Dyer and Gallagher to be in the team just demonstraes the lack of options despite all the millions spent and wages given. yes we've wasted loads, almost all of it apart from Peltier & Kasper who are awesome.... with Konch & Nuge proving ok if unspectacular additions But I assume your hooof is some kind of joke, with Howard on we should be looking for crosses into the box & Howard either crashing them in or Nuge & King picking up the pieces, the midfield can also tap the ball up to him on the ground as he drops to deep to receive it & he can play them back in further up the pitch... something missing with Beckford & surprisingly Nuge playing up front Whether it comes off or not is a different matter of course
savillefoxes Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 I think all you people who knock Beckford need to look at our midfield. Nuggent and Beckford both look crap now with Mr Pearson going back 3 seasons with his midfield for me i would have king danns fernandes abi with danns taking sorry i cant train all the time wellens place in the centre.
Le12fox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 wtf Howard and Wellens, come on Pearson some new ideas please.
darko2k7 Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 So thats 3/4 times I've heard Stringer mention a long ball within the first minute Greeeaaat
cc_star Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 We have plenty of options in the middle of the park, king, wellens, fernandes, abe, johnson, danns But pearson seems hell bent on ignoring the rest of them and playing the same midfield weve had for years, despite there poor performances another joker Fernandes, abe, danns & intermittently Johnson were one of the reasons we never even got close to 6th under Sven. Stopping ****ing Wellens & King about actually got us there for the first time in well over a year... it does of course need another look as although it's better there is obviously plenty of room for much, much more improvement, I'd like to see Fernandes involved somehow taking some of the workload off Wellens who seems to have to do the job of defensive midfielder, playmaker & more, but whether Fernandes can fit the system is a different matter altogether... but to assume the other under-achievers are the answer when they've already proved they're not up to it is laughable

Danns so you'd play 4 central midfielders, conveniently forgetting August to late October was nothing but abject failure in your rush blame Pearson?
