Wise up Fox1651, it will take a while to sort sven's shit out.

Agreed and if he rams my words down my throat, i will be delighted along with every other City fan

NP has to be very careful in the January transfer window as it is notoriously panic buy time at sky high prices. Yet NP will be under pressure from everyone to buy buy buy. Whilst some found it frustrating, O'Neil always appeared reluctant to spend money when in reality he probably treated it like his own and only bought players that he genuinely thought were better than what he already or on someone who could potentially add that something that was a little bit different. Most of the time he got it right. There is also the problem of trying to get rid of some of our under-performers who are probably on long well paid contracts that no-one else will want to pay the wages for. Whilst loans aren't always the answer, at least it gives a chance to have a look at them with a view to buying them for the start of next season (or just send them back). I don't personally see a lot of changes being made in January but I don't think this will be because of a lack of effort on NP's side, just merely a lack of being able to attract the right players at the right price. NP has quite a mess to sort out for various football and non-footballing reasons and it will take time but I think he can do it. The play-offs seem a faint possibility but we are unfortunately in a period of change (yet again) but getting rid of Pearson is not the answer.

Sensible post

From the outside as a neutral: Yes

Promotion this season more likely than not.

Totally unbiased but I rate him, think the squad is strong just needs to be fine tuned. The fans all getting on board, I cant see anyone living with you lot if you get on a roll second half of season.

Martin O'God wouldn't have been the answer aswell imo,We needed a guy who hadn't managed Leicester before a young man who offered different ideas to the football club that is why I wanted Ole Gunnar.

we are getting better! dead wood going! last two games we've been working harder too! 4 unbeaten! 3 draws though! the balls will be kept better up top with sharp better technically then beckford and harrassing defenders! good times!

i really really really hope im proved wrong but i just dont think NP was the right choice, the games now are proving it sadly

I dont think my original question is looking quite as silly now is it?

It certainly isn't.

The last four home performances, from which we've gained just THREE points, have been abysmal and the manager has to take the responsibility.

If you persist with Sven's team and Sven's tactics, is it any wonder you end up with Sven's results?

The only saving grace about today's horror show was that it happened against Barnsley and not Forest.

But if we fail again on Tuesday, then the club may have another big decision to make.

Fvck the tree's the league is more important.

The way we are going the tree's will be above us and we'll be going down.

He is the long term answer for me, but he must be given time. There is clearly many things wrong at the club and its like some huge oil tanker that isn't gonna stop and turn round quickly. We can show our impatience at the team, but Pearson has few choices at the minute. I hope he's given time, but in the current environment nothing would surprise me.

pearson has gone right down in my estimation - post match interview today was shocking, take some ****ing responsibility and stop moaning about what you've inherited. Today was solely his fault, you could see the team he picked was set up like a bag of shit . He's had 14 days to get a winger who can run or a midfielder who can tackle but he's seemingly spent his time trying to get a striker who clearly wasn't that fussed. Don't worry Pearson you'll be able to blame others for a while yet - and while he continues to pick king and Gallagher there will be plenty of opportunity.

Tuesday is a massive match for him.

The cup could be a slight saving grace this season and a defeat to a dreadful Forest side will turn fans against him.

We won't go down. Forest, Cov and Donny (with or without Sharp) will see to that.

There is always next season though.

At the moment we look more like a League 1 team than a Premier League one. If Schmeichel leaves (either in this transfer window or the next one) we're in deep doo-doo..

don't know what so ever he could be, or not. but he aint addresing the problems within the team as yet like bringing in a tough tackling cm or even a winger just chased sharp and stewart who hull don't want to sell. he needs to pull his finger out rather quick or he could find himself out of work

im not against him, just want my beloved Leicester City to start playing decent football again and maybe win the odd game or two. i do agree with Corky though in that if we lose to the red scum i think alot more fans will turn on him
