Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 He is the long term answer for me, but he must be given time. There is clearly many things wrong at the club and its like some huge oil tanker that isn't gonna stop and turn round quickly. We can show our impatience at the team, but Pearson has few choices at the minute. I hope he's given time, but in the current environment nothing would surprise me. This, please give him time
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 im not against him, just want my beloved Leicester City to start playing decent football again and maybe win the odd game or two. i do agree with Corky though in that if we lose to the red scum i think alot more fans will turn on him I think that's VERY likely.. There was lots of booing at the end on Sat apparently?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Let's just be honest, Mr. P. is a liability to this club. With him at the helm we are well and truly f----d. BIG TIME.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 It will take some time but i do think he will turn it around eventually
cc_star Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 It will take some time but i do think he will turn it around eventually I don't know if he'll get time The fans control the board's actions and the fans still seem to think some of the best manager's around Hughes, Ancelotti & MoN would rush to join us & we'd be signing Beckham, Henry, Hargreaves... and maybe Messi. Embarrassing, when clubs like Swansea & Norwich show how it's done & before them clubs like West Brom, Burnley, Stoke, Hull... Showbiz management might work if you get to the Prem, but TEAMwork is the only thing that will get you there

Nickfosse Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Let's just be honest, Mr. P. is a liability to this club. With him at the helm we are well and truly f----d. BIG TIME. So who would be willing to come here and do a better job Mr Tiger?
Langston Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 We know he can manage in this division - he's done it with us. What he achieved with us happened with a side that he'd built and moulded, and it took time. We've been terrible for portions of this season but our squad is good enough to stay in this league, relegation isn't even a consideration at the minute. We're all aware what he's capable of, and in my opinion - he deserves a full pre-season so that we can approach next term under Nigel Pearson's Leicester City, not Sven's. This isn't a Pearson side and it's glaringly obvious, his squads at both Hull and us the first time round were built on spirit more than anything - for that reason, he deserves time to create "his" side.
flowwolf Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I'm saving a few of these quotes for when your all singing Pearson's praises later on.
Corky Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 I think most already are against him IMO I don't think they are. Not in a big way in any case. He does have issues to deal with from previous regimes but it's a results and performances business and we aren't doing well enough in either respect. As I said, Tuesday is pivotal. A win and people (including myself) will be feeling a bit brighter and upbeat.

I don't think he can or will - he seems to have lost his own belief, stood on the sideline motionless and looking lethargic instead of the passion and involvement he had first time around and for the first few weeks the second time. Florist is a massive game ... I'm actually really looking forward to it .... to see how it's going to pan out!!!

I'd love him to turn it around. I have lost faith that he can as I can't see where the improvement is going to come from. ..... but let's hope he has been finding white rabbits and he's about to show us his hat! I think a few media lessons wouldn't go a miss so that he can present himself a little better would help too.

A bit of "Oneill esque" passion on the sidelines would be nice. However now he is here lets get behind him and try (as hard as it is) to cheer the boys to the rafters until we turn things around

He was INVOLVED in the game. for the last few games he has stood passively watching the game, occasionally clapping and that's about it.

Worrying signs then, or has he just realised the size of the task and knows only the transfer market can balance his squad out?
