Legend_in_blue Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Maynard Close Bagworth, Coalville, Leicestershire LE67 1BU What time is the press conference scheduled for?
MikeyT Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 To be fair, that sign would score more goals at the minute, than Maynard is.
Walshy5 Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 What i find amussing is this thread will probablly reach about 100 pages all started by that!
Greg2607 Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 approx 100 yards from me......it's the point in my runs, when i feel close to dying, that I know i'm nearly home!! damn those hills near thornton!!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 December 2011 Author Posted 28 December 2011 Doesn't even make sense. Why?
The Doctor Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 Close on signing makes no sense unless it's being interviewed about signing, it would be close to signing for a grammatically correct joke. Oh and, terrible, just terrible.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 December 2011 Author Posted 28 December 2011 'Maynard Close on signing' is factually correct though. Had I of put 'close to signing' someone would've pointed out its 'on' the signing. The fact I put .... in the title thread indicates it could mean the rest of the sentance was to follow in the post. Stop being pedantic!
FuriousFox46 Posted 28 December 2011 Posted 28 December 2011 I'm more interested in the 'Close' part, looks a lot like Miroslav Klose to me!!!
