RizLCFC Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Puncheon has returned to his parent club Southampton but Blackpool, Leicester, Millwall, West Ham and Crystal Palace also want him. Tielemans63 Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Has a point to prove and is not a bad player. Seems to have been at a lot of clubs which might be a concern.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Puncheon said on Soccer Am that he ideally wants Premier league football but would happily play in the Championship. Defiantly take him over what we have now.
foxfanazer Posted 1 January 2012 Posted 1 January 2012 Has a point to prove and is not a bad player. Seems to have been at a lot of clubs which might be a concern. seems like trouble to me. Was on soccer am Saturday and Helen chamberlain asked him why so many clubs and even he said he has had a bad attitude problem. Think we have enough problems at the moment without adding to them

Kitchandro Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 He looked OK for Backpool last season. I don't want someone else with an attitude problem though.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Why don't Southampton keep him? Fell out with Nigel Adkins I think.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Over what do you know ? Over what do you know ?
dannythefox Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Not a bad player but why has know one else snapped him up he's been on loan to a few clubs.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 2 January 2012 Posted 2 January 2012 Would be worth a try on loan maybe?
Leicfox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 We should try and get this done. Southampton don't want him anywhere near their squad, he was even made to train on his own pre-season. So why are they keeping hold of him and not letting him go for a nominal fee? I hope he is on Pearson's radar.

So we should be in a hurry to sign somebody Southampton want nowhere near their squad and won't let train with their 1st team. We don't need any trouble causers in the squad causing unrest in the dressing room when he gets left out of the staring 11
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Don't think he's Pearson's kind of player. Our Nige is big on players having the right attitude.
Leicfox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 SO the player has a bit of an ego, NP signed Wellens who before he came to Leicester had twice the ego of Puncheon. Puncheon is a talented championship footballer who had a bust up with saints assistant boss Andy Crosby on the training ground and has been cast out ever since. Does that make him a trouble maker?, nobody actually knows what went on. I bet Millwall and Blackpool would have him back in a heart beat.

Leicester Lass Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 He was a guest on Soccer AM on Saturday and was directly asked about his 'attitude problem'. He openly admitted this was the case when he was a young lad, and now that's the reputation he has to carry with him, despite him having grown up since then. Yes he's fallen out with the staff at Southampton, but nobody really knows what went on behind closed doors. Disputes happen between players and staff all the time anyway, we need to look no further than our own squad to appreciate that, so I think he'd be worth a punt.
Callabinho Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Anyone but Wellens atm. Hate to be a boblet, but isn't that Moussa in you're picture?
nickelbyfox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Puncheon is a winger isnt he? would be a good addition, think he is better than dyer
Finchy Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Hate to be a boblet, but isn't that Moussa in you're picture? hahaha
Lambert09 Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Hate to be a boblet, but isn't that Moussa in you're picture? Big fat
Ric Flair Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Puncheon hasn't really achieved much at this level, even though he isn't a bad player. I'd hope for better than him but if it's him or Dyer for the rest of the season then i'd bring him in obviously.
