Ric Flair Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 We are in a right pickle, I think Nigel should play tomorrow.
Babylon Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Another 'theory'.... IMO losing Bamba is a blow, but we'll see I think it's a blow, I'd much rather him be here. But it has been mentioned by quite a few that they believe his style may be to blame for some of our problems/nerves at the back.
dannythefox Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Good enough to play most games for ireland but not for a top club like Leicester!! Big mistake putting ledger on the transfer Pearson!

Guest Col city fan Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 If only we still had Sven to let the players push him around Yes indeed! Player power is always the right way to go.
RobHawk Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 We have Konchesky, Kennedy, Tunchev, Moore, Mills and Peltier for the time being and it wouldn't surprise me if Nig gets someone in even if its just on loan! We want players to play for the team and that wants to be here! St Ledger just wants to go to the world cup and doesn't care about anything or anybody else! Personally i'd rather nig plays taft than him!
Ric Flair Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Good enough to play most games for ireland but not for a top club like Leicester!! Big mistake putting ledger on the transfer Pearson! So Pearson should have just accepted his outburst and stripped Mills of the captaincy and installed St Ledger as top boy with immediate effect? St Ledger hasn't fitted in here from the start and he HAS to be the main defender at a club in his eyes otherwise it'll jeopardise his Euro 2012 romance next summer. He kicked off, said he wanted to leave and Pearson has said he can. If St Ledger is professional, he should help us out over the next few games and impress. That will strengthen his chances of a move away to the right club and if not, it will help cement his place in Leicester's team and still give him his meal ticket to Poland in June.

He has to be professional to earn a move away, and if he gets asked to play for us, it a win-win situation for him in terms of being picked to go to Euro 2012.

scousefox4 Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 Taft struggled when he played for Kettering so no chance Moore played in the centre for the Academy but not sure if he could cut it in that position in the Championship - did ok at RB so just put Pelts in the middle and job sorted The then Kettering Town manager Mark Stimson was quoted in the local press saying he wanted Taft to extend his loan for a third month apparently it was Tafts agent who refused the offer , couldnt of struggled there too much

His agent probably wanted to get him out of a club in turmoil, and off out on loan to a league club to gain more experience.
volpeazzurro Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 He should go to be honest, if the country calls you should do it. I generally agree with that however a player needs to also consider the career that pays his wages also. If all defenders for Ivory Coast were fit and willing to play then he would be unlikely to feature. At Leicester, under a new manager who's trying to sort his defence out, he may come back to find he's no longer a first choice as the ship will hopefully have been steadied by then.
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 His agent probably wanted to get him out of a club in turmoil Messed that one up bringing him back here then..
