Guest shearfox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Not his team, just give him time to mould his own side, with the players who want to play for him. He proved his quality when he was here the first time. The biggest mistake in the last decade was getting rid of him.
muzzy1981 Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Agree. Some of his old guard don't cut it anymore so he will need more time to rebuild
Jagdinho Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Only the midfield are his team, and its the midfield letting us down, not following the runs into the box which cost goals and not supporting the attackers which stops us from scoring.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Might not be his team but i don't like to see us play a defensive formation at home. Also, after the amount iv spend, i will boo when i like and if the players or manager cant handle that then they shouldn't be on such stupid money.
z-layrex Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 We're going to have chalk this season down to experience, concentrate on staying mid table if possible and waiting for next season so Pearson can build his own squad.
Guest bennytwohats Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 There is only so long 'it's not his team' will cut it. Again, if so many players came in summer it really begs the question why Sven was only given 13 games.

This Jan will tell us a lot and I'm sure he will get the right players.
davieG Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 You must allow him to actually be able to sign a player... This Jan will tell us a lot and I'm sure he will get the right players. He should still be able to get more out of the current squad than he is currently achieving they are Championship players under performing on his watch.
Matt Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 The only blame and question I have for Pearson is why we've not moved quicker and been successful in the transfer market yet. Don't get me wrong, he said in his interview that he has been trying and I believe it but we need to get something sorted soon. As i've said before, we need to write this season off now and treat this as the summer, get the players in to build a new team (Because most of these players need replacing) and then hopefully, if the new signings are correct ones and will take the club forward they have from now till the start of next season to 'gel' so they'll be no excuse for that, there will hopefully be a good team spirit. It's all easier said that done but we should be doing something towards this even if we can get a few in now to start the rebuild than complete it in the summer. The current deadwood we have needs replaces before the rot sets in. As for blaming Pearson for the current mess we are in, I can't, it's not his fault.
Head Honcho Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 He should still be able to get more out of the current squad than he is currently achieving they are Championship players under performing on his watch. Just about sums it up.
lcfcsnow Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Not his team, just give him time to mould his own side, with the players who want to play for him. He proved his quality when he was here the first time. The biggest mistake in the last decade was getting rid of him. Not his team but whats stopping him getting a few loans in? We're waiting permanent transfers of players who are waiting on better deals, tell them to do one. Previously he signed the likes of Mark Davies, Cleverley, Spearing in midfield, we need someone like that in we're not going to sign anyone of that calibre on a permentant deal so stop wasting time and SORT IT OUT. Oh and he has to sell Wellens and King before they are worth nothing.
Happy Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 I was willing to give Pearson the benefit of the doubt with earlier performances due to not having an opportunity to sort this squad out before the January transfer window he has had 14 days and nothing has f**king happened, performances on the pitch have been shit the Thais must be f**king pissed off.
ithuriel Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 There is only so long 'it's not his team' will cut it. Again, if so many players came in summer it really begs the question why Sven was only given 13 games. But it is not his team, he is now trying to get players in to replace the shower that we currently have. Myself i'd like to see a good number of them kicked out but i doubt we have the finances to just do that. Why we brought Mills i do not know, same with Danns and a fair few others. A nice bit of cash was wasted on players that really are not up to the job.
ozleicester Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Bad side today bad formation today bad tactics today and half the side was his own players (thoe that werent his were the fair ones Konch, Schmiec, Nuge) He must accept some responsibility..in fact, most responsibility and, who is gong to want to come here, with no likely promotion this year, a manager that is respected for his ability to manage struggling poor clubs, and where we play boring football
JadeFalcon Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 1 a defense formation at home and 2. a 5 man defensive team at home that was repeatedly cut to ****ing ribbons enough said
Corky Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 It isn't his team. Our three worst players today for me were three he either signed or gave a chance to in the first team. He puts the team out, he has to take responsibility. Good managers make the best of what they've got, no matter how it came about.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Any manager that has the pure audacity to blame the fans for a disgustingly bad performance is an idiot in my eyes. They're a bunch of underperforming overpaid buffoons. Blaming the fans because we were on their backs is utter bullshit.
Happy Fox Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 MON would do a far better job with this lot, the Thais have f**ked up proper.
JadeFalcon Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 people keep saying "it isnt his team" he ****ing bought most of them
stillwater Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Isn't his team what a joke, He's the manager so it is his team. Hull must be laughing their socks of Letting him come to us look how their doing now he's gone. get rid bet Warnock would get them playing
ithuriel Posted 14 January 2012 Posted 14 January 2012 Yeah right, warnock would get these underperformers playing as a team when they obviously could not for Sven and currently Pearson Whats Warnock going to do, put viagra in Wellens tea or something
