Stand UP... Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 i think we learned king is the weak link in our team as much as i convinced myself it was wellens, if king started tonight i cant see the performance and result being what it was. I know forest were poor and had selection problems, but still.
teblin Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 It did make king look like the weak link! St ledger may well stay in the team.
Bettsj2 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 i think we learned king is the weak link in our team as much as i convinced myself it was wellens, if king started tonight i cant see the performance and result being what it was. I know forest were poor and had selection problems, but still. Unfortunately I have to agree. King has been a passenger. It's like playing with 10 men with him on the pitch. Perhaps he's been carrying a knock hence his loss of form? It did make king look like the weak link! St ledger may well stay in the team. He should. I know Forest didn't exactly put us under pressure but he looked so much more solid than Tunchev and he and Mills actually seemed to communicate quite well.
Charl91 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 To be fair, I'm not going to make any judgements about who should/shouldn't be playing, untill we repeat that performance against a team which isn't forest! That being said, we can't really justify changing the team next game. Not that we really have the players to do so anymore....
yorkie1999 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 King and wellens can't play in the same team cos they get in each others way.
CountesthorpeFox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 To be fair, I'm not going to make any judgements about who should/shouldn't be playing, untill we repeat that performance against a team which isn't forest! That being said, we can't really justify changing the team next game. Not that we really have the players to do so anymore.... Exactly. As much as this was a boost to confidence this will mean nothing if we do not build on this in the league. A tough run of games awaits. We needed this.
lcfcadam Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Can't agree on the Gallagher front, was the weak link again today (in an admittedly strong chain.) I sense an "agree to disagree" situation here - when I was weighing up my personal MOTM award he rated strongly alongside Danns and Becks (Pearson called him that, so I can ) Although granted, a couple of his decisions in attacking situations were a little frustrating...
FoxesFan123 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 That we have gone from having the biggest squad in the league to not being able to name enough subs! You can make a full team from the players missing today : Berner Bamba - ACN Pantsil -ACN Moore Mousa Oakley King Johnson Vassel Waghorn Schlupp
woznotwos Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 What i have learned today is,Dont come on foxestalk and slag off the players ditto
undey Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 We don't need King and apparently we are interested in a striker called "Vardy" according to espn interview post match..
Lambert09 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 That the commentators on ESPN talk more shit than stringer and young..."If Leicester are Barcelona, what are forest?"
lcfcadam Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 "If Leicester are Barcelona, what are forest?" If Leicester are Barcelona, Forest are Vanessa Feltz.
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Can't agree on the Gallagher front, was the weak link again today (in an admittedly strong chain.) That he even got in the side is a miracle given his last two performances. He was better today, sure, but he didn't shine while many others did. Utter bollox
gosfox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Beckford gets the shits after running about. lol
kyle09uk Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Today I have learnt me and most fans truly are LC's bitches... I feel like I've been mentally tortured by this football club... No matter how many times we play shit as soon as we have one exceptional performance I Feel like we should top of the league Usually followed by the next display being Utter shite! Hopefully this truly is The start of great things to come and Pearson showing why he's the man to lead us! BLUE ARMY!!
ibbosuk Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Can all the other teams in the championship PLEASE give us as much time and space as Forest did tonight then we are in business....
Captain... Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Everyone who played tonight is a hero. Everyone who didn't is clearly at fault for every poor performance this season. Wait until we play well in the league against a team that aren't ****ing awful before jumping to snap decisions. The only thing I learnt from today was that Forest are really, really, really, shit. By that I mean I already knew that the players we have, including King and Bamba and everyone else in the squad, are capable in this league, and that if we can get the players to play for each other as a team we will win more than we lose, especially if we don't concede early like we seem to have done in the last few home games, I have been saying so for weeks.
5waller5 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Things I learnt .... 1. Buy a warmer coat 2. wear a scarf 3. King and Wellens have both been the reason we have been played through 4. If we drop Wellens as well and get someone else with the energy of Danns we'd really dominate teams 5. We got lucky a few times, but probably deserved that after our recent poor run of luck 6. that hard work creates luck 7. When we play the ball on the deck we are infinitely better 8. That a win against Florist makes up for all that rubbish feeling from losing to Barnsley 9. That Florist are nailed on relegation certainties. 10. For the sake of neatness lists should be 10 long.
