broughtonblue Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 When boro went two one up some boro fans in a box near c2 cheered and were mocking us, when we levelled it it was brilliant, they shut the door and hid as what looked like c1 & c2 tried to get at them. Anyone else notice this
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I wondered why so many people were looking at the exec boxes from the kop and going ****ing skitz at them
HEGGSY Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I sat right in front, they were being really cocky and when we scored it was brilliant. At one point loads of LCFC started piling into the exec box
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Was right in front of this too. The bloke directly behind me was a Boro fan as well, I heard him said "Yes!" under his breath when the first went in. When Beckford scored, I turned round and stood on my seat to give it some to the idiots in the exec box (who were whooping like girls when they celebrated their goals), nearly fell off the seat and grabbed hold of the bloke behind to steady myself as I celebrated. He didn't look particularly happy about it. All fun and games anyway.
blueharmie Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 i would rather sit there and fiddle with jobbers nipples than sit anywhere near the prawn munching hooray henry brigade. west stand for the loss.
thybluefox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 i would rather sit there and fiddle with jobbers nipples than sit anywhere near the prawn munching hooray henry brigade. west stand for the loss. Great attitude that.
Unit Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 To be fair to them I was in a box my uncle blagged for us at Cov away once, when we scored we were all mouth by the end we'd shut ourselves in.

I agree that the atmosphere is shit, I usually sit in J3 but I sat there tonight purely because a few of my mates were there and to be honest I enjoyed it. Seriously though, lighten up mate.

Simmo86 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 To be fair to them I was in a box my uncle blagged for us at Cov away once, when we scored we were all mouth by the end we'd shut ourselves in. Done the same at Cov aswell, work has a box there!
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Surely they should get kicked out if they were mocking our fans? One of our fans was kicked out for just standing up but Boro fans get let off with that? Fvcking awful
Saxondale Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Anyone know which company's box it was? BOYCOTT THE FVCKERS!!
AjcW Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Some sort of steel company. I was sat two rows below them, the misses thinks this happens every game! She ****ing loved it and got well involved when everyone piled into the box haha!
Storming Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Yes we gave them some shit when we equalised we were in row cc they were gobbing off but shit themselves when we equalised Priceless Ref was a joke
thybluefox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 I sit in the West Stand (corporate) and every game the same seats in the directors section are taken by away fans. And there's always some drunk away fans in a box too. Quite amusing as Pearson was staring them down at one point also.
jonthefox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 same thing happened at leeds. 2 of them were ejected to the away corner.
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Haha. Was proud of everyone in C2. The second the ball hit the net the entire block turned around to give their fans some stick haha. To be fair to them I thought they took it fairly well.

Easy to say that, but when we get got offered free tickets on a regular basis to a box at a club we love it's kinda hard to turn it down. And hey, I don't see you contributing £22k a year to the clubs coffers. (Also you'll find the better sandwiches are the chicken rocket and avocado ones) :-p
Saxondale Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 I don't think anybody objects to the inevitable fact that there will sometimes be away fans in the corporate boxes. It's when they start being mouthy. If you're guests of the club, you are obliged to show SOME respect. In my old job, I had to take a load of people on a corporate to Blackpool vs Man City. Some Manc twats were in the corporate area (not my guests, somebody else's) and were giving it large. Obviously the Blackpool faithful didn't like it much and were directing a lot of abuse at these gimps (who were sat annoyingly close to me) and subsequently got them binned out. It happens everywhere.
harpendenfox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Born Blue is spot on. I had a box for the Barnsley game (treat for my very elderly Dad who otherwise couldn't get to a game during the winter months. Lasagne, not prawn sandwiches by the way). There were a few folk from Barnsley in the neighbouring box who got a bit loud, but the reaction from some of the people sitting nearby was extraordinary. Looked like real hatred. I know we're all passionate, but, erm, it is only a game. In the box on the other side were some Leicester fans. Amongst them was a six or seven year old lad who was flicking the finger, and mouthing off at the Barnsley fans. All the adults in the box seemed to regard this as funny, and pretty much goaded him on. Utterly depressing. Just go to the game, support your team, and forget about the opposition fans. Rather than we hate this, we hate that, we hate them, just show your love. I gather that last night that strategy worked rather well
