Do we need additions, I am thinking that we need a striker on loan due to Delfouneso's injury and possibly a winger as a replacement for Dyer any thoughts?

Very little movement this transfer window as financial fair play kicked in, so there's not many players been displaced

They'll be no one other than kids or journeymen available, if there's one who can do the job or not, I'm sure we'll be amongst the 'runners'

but with playoffs looking mission impossible I can't see why anyone would want to come, other than for a run-out

Too True you are right, but I feel if we want to salvage this season and NP certainly does sounding from his post match interview that he is not giving up on the playoffs, we need that winger on loan and a striker too give us a boost.

I would only take loans with a view to a perm.

For me we need to concentrate on building a team and if we managed to get the play-offs as a bi-product bonus!

However I am not keen on going down the SGE route of loaning players to get into the play-off and ending up with no team (although I accept that was essential at the time)

I'm out of my depth with this one.. I literally have no idea who would be available on loan and, moreover, whether they are any good or not..

Perhaps a case of scouting the foreign market for some good young players who are not breaking through at their respective clubs?

Although, before any smart arse comments, perhaps avoiding the Hungarian market?

lol

It was a season long loan so maybe we can't send him back or if we do we still have to pay his wages, I presume Sven hoped he'd become a permanent, unfortunately he didn't take into account that he himself was only temporary :P

Yeah you're probably right Davie, it's gotta be wage related as I can't understand why else he would still be here. He seems to be winding me up more than any other player purely because if he could only be arsed to get himself into shape than he could be a real asset to us. He has (or had) the talent but for whatever reason lacks the drive.

If a manager like Pearson can't sort him out then I don't hold out much hope for the lad. When his current contract runs out at Man City he will be hard pushed to find a wage anything like what he earns now.
