We all have our causes on here. Some, like Thracian, go on about youth development until your ears bleed. Others, like Fox92, think that the criticism doled out to individual players (Wellens) is ridiculous when others get off scott-free.

So, if you could sum up your thoughts about LCFC in 5 points what would they be? They can be a blueprint, something you just don't get about the club or anything else you like. Basically any point that you find yourself coming back to again and again on various threads about our club.

We all disagree about stuff, and sometimes the constant arguing can stop people from actually getting their point across. So if we could keep this free from criticism, and just use as a thread for posting your 5 key beliefs about the club at this stage, I think it would be quite interesting.

It would be good if we could get this thread going to act as a reference point for a few months' time. It might actually act as definitive proof of our fickleness or otherwise!

Hopefully this will give people an opportunity to nail their colours to the mast...

I'll go first:

1) Sol Bamba should be the first name on the teamsheet.

2) We sacked Sven too early.

3) Beckford has never shown anything to suggest he will be prolific at this level.

4) We should be playing a system to get the best out of Andy King.

5) We will get nowhere until we start to move the ball through the midfield quicker.

I can appreciate what you're trying to do here ttfn, but the result will be a million and one different opinions which can only, in the end, come across as fickle.

1) No player should be an automatic choice

2) Pearson should never have been sacked in the first place

3) Beckford has shown more than enough in the last 5 games to get the crowd off his back

4) We should have sold Andy King when we had the chance

5) We need to recognise that we havent spent as much money as people try and make out. The money spent in the summer was necessary as we didnt actually have any players.

1. Give Pearson until at least after the summer

2. Drop Mills and give Bamba and Morgan a go

3. Sign Jay Emmanuel Thomas in the summer to play alongside Drinky

4. Sign another winger. Someone quick and with a decent cross

5. Sell Beckford and get a consistent goal scorer in the team to compliment Nugent.

1. It's too expensive

2. We spend ridiculous amounts of money

3. There's no consistent structure to the club

4. Fans are stupid

5. You can't buy promotion

1) LCFC are on the way back from the worst decade in their history

2) Nigel Pearson is an excellent manager

3) The Thai owners are genuine and could oversee LCFC in the top flight for over a decade

4) Beckford and Nugent will be prolific next season

5) A late mini-run will see us just miss out on the playoffs.

  1. Summer signings will be a one-legged 35yr old and a contract extension for Howard
  2. ST holders will be wondering why they bothered by August
  3. Pearson will be sacked by September
  4. The Thais will leave in October
  5. The club will be in administration by December

1) I really hope we do what we can to keep Kasper at the squad beyond this season. Without him, I dread to think where we would have been in the league.

2) I wish people would try and stay positive about the club. It seems we are still in a period of transition as much as some wouldn't like to believe it. The gift of the Thais' money and investment hasn't worked as well as we wanted it (yet!), but money does not bring instant success. It's why I think Pearson needs a full season as boss with all this money. We saw how we couldn't get in to the play-offs despite Sven's best efforts from coming in as a boss in October. Nigel came in late October this time around so we MUST give him the opportunity to bring back success to the club for more than just over half a season.

3) Replace Howard. Get him out of the club. He offers very little these days and using him as a sub to try and resurrect a game just isn't a back-up plan I'm comfortable with.

4) The central defensive partnership - even I don't know how to tackle this one. Mills and St Ledger, from what I've seen were actually doing alright up until Tuesday. Morgan sounded alright when he came on but I doubt Pearson will want to keep SSL at RB. In relation to the defence, there's no point taking the captaincy away from Mills. It won't do his confidence much good when your boss takes away an honourable position from you, and I doubt Mills is the kind of person who will take kindly to having the armband taken away from him.

5) We desperately need another winger. I still think we have a chance of the play-offs (I have hope!!), but to do so, we need some threat from the sides of our formation. Dyer is an impact sub at best, despite his best efforts recently. I would like to see Marshall start on Saturday, and I am a little surprised he played no part on Tuesday. Pearson took advantage of the loan window last time he was here and I hope he has his sights set on some other players for the remainder of this loan window. I have faith in him.

That's all that came to mind in the first place. I could talk about more, but you only want 5!

Most of all though, I wish fans would lay off scape-goating. It does the team no good and it is fvcking annoying to read about after a match.

For the rest of the season, let's back the team and actually SUPPORT them. If they make a mistake, don't boo them. It really does no good for the players or the team. Players thrive off confidence, especially when it is from the fans. It makes no difference if someone has a strong character who can ride the criticism for a while or someone who is 'weak' under pressure. Booing does not help. Get behind the team. Get behind Leicester City! It's the only way forward!

1) We should not even consider sacking NP until at least Xmas 2013, see where we are then.

2) In Beckford and Nugent we have a front two more than capable of getting the goals to get us out of this league.

3) We're still a winger or two short, Gally is not a winger, Dyer is not consistently good enough, Marshall is as yet an unknown quantity.

4) We need an attacking, creative midfielder. King can do it but is anonymous too often.

5) We need to remain patient. NP will build a side and if he leans towards signing up and coming players such as DD and BM then it may take time before we can reap the dividends.

1.Bamba is our best defender

2. There isn't really anyone realistic I'd rather have in charge than Pearson

3. I'd like to see more of the Danns and Drinkwater combination in the middle for the rest of the season.

4.Beckford will come good-ish and score a few between now and the end of the season but does nothing to really move the club forward in the way we would have hoped for such a high profile signing.

5. Play offs still not impossible!

Jay is currently on great form in an also very under achieving Ipswich team.

Big, strong, good finisher and aged 22...

Good player this lad

Beckford and Nuge have been playing together since the start of the season.

Why do you think they make a formidable strike partnership?

Becks has three league goals all season..

Why should this suddenly improve next season.

If it was gonna work it would be doing so now?

Surely?

1) Need a class midfielder. Someone with ability and experience, someone that will be the best footballer at the club.

2) Need 3rd good striker to challenge Nuge and Beckford. Not a kid/unproven/old etc like Howard/Waggy/Delfouneso/Vassell.

3) Need a winger.

4) Need a better coaching set up. Too many positional/concentration lapses at the back. Better position-specific coaching needed.

5) Need to hang on to, support, improve and build around talented footballers with potential (the likes of Beckford, Kingy, Schmeichel and to some extent Nugent who has been a revelation).

We have the makings of a solid outfit and there is potential. The likes of Wellens, Howard, Tunchev, Weale, Waggy, Dyer and Gally aren't good enough any more. In the summer we need to buy improvements on them (not just other 'decent' players).

1. Don't let go of Kasper next season.

2. Steve Howard , Paul Gallagher and Richie Wellens should be sold in the summer.

3. Beckford will tear this league apart next season if we keep him

4. Let Pearson have the summer to build a decent squad.

5. Koncheskey runs weird

If you can't see a huge improvement in Beckfords performances of late and indeed the partnership then you're clearly barking. More than good enough for this league and time will tell.

1) We need consistency

2) We are not playing that badly, (just because we lose doesn't mean we have played terribly and are the worst side in the world)

3) We need more signings like Drinkwater and Marshall, not Fernandes and Johnson on loan, build for the future

4) Pearson needs to learn how to get the best out of his squad and pick the team based on the opposition and not on reputation

5) Pearson needs to learn how to make a decisive game changing substitution, throwing Howard on with 10 minutes to go is never the answer

Lots of huff and puff and effort doesn't compensate for three league goals all season.

Nugent puts in the effort too.. He's got four times as many goals... Belying the 'lack of supply' argument.

You're happy with mediocrity again I take it?

6. Promotion is still possible (I'm an optimist, but also a bit mad lol ) Reading were in our exact position last season and got to Wembley.

Unsurprisingly my pleas for no bickering have fallen on deaf ears!

So in the last few weeks when you were holding your hands up and admitting that Beckford was starting to look the part has been forgotten now has it? Or is that because you expect a goal every single game from him now? I don't give a shit about what happened early in the season, NP has clearly got through to Becks and you can see on the pitch the effort he is now putting in and he is looking extremely dangerous.

Anyway, you keep banging your drum and you'll be proved wrong. Again.

He started it.
