What's your view?

  1. Ignore the free scarves; our owners are out of their depth in most things (English) football.
  2. Anyone who thinks our owners are in it for the long-term is massively naive. It's the worst long-term strategy in the world ever if they are.
  3. The club must stick with its current manager; we'll fail to attract a decent replacement now we're viewed as a bit of a circus.
  4. The club must get back to sourcing more decent players from lower leagues a la O'Neill/Pearson Pt 1 eras.
  5. Our Academy end product has been abysmal over recent years. Only Stearman has made it in the Prem (just). Utter pants.

So in the last few weeks when you were holding your hands up and admitting that Beckford was starting to look the part has been forgotten now has it? Or is that because you expect a goal every single game from him now? I don't give a shit about what happened early in the season, NP has clearly got through to Becks and you can see on the pitch the effort he is now putting in and he is looking extremely dangerous.

Anyway, you keep banging your drum and you'll be proved wrong. Again.

He started it.

I agreed that he was putting in more effort and looking better.

I don't agree he's the answer to our current predicament or that he's suddenly gonna become 'prolific' like you suggested. He'd be scoring goals now if this were the case.

Anyway, you keep revelling in mediocrity.. You must be well happy at the mo

6. Promotion is still possible (I'm an optimist, but also a bit mad lol ) Reading were in our exact position last season and got to Wembley.

:D. The season is still alive.

I'd rather be mad than miserable about a season being over!

Of course they are in it for the long term they surely want a return on their investment so are happy to bide their time and wait till we get in the prem.

Oh, the old (unsubstantiated) 'I revel in mediocrity' line.

Boring hell, it's like groundhog day with you.

1. We need another winger and a creative central midfielder before we can have a hope of being promoted. And that's next season at the earliest.

2. Our fans get way too much stick from some of our own, we are very loyal and better numerically and vocally than most in this league. But...

3. We should be actively involved in improving the atmosphere, which could certainly be better. We can't keep blaming the stadium and having the attitude that it's not worth trying anymore because it will never be Filbert Street. Plus I don't like people complaining about the atmosphere when they sit in a part of the ground that they know is not particularly loud compared to other parts. And I can only understand booing your own team during a match if they are not trying. And...

4. Similarly to Fox92, though at the same time in complete opposition, I think Some players get way too much stick, namely Gallagher and Wellens, for whom the severe dislike almost seems to be based on more than performances on the pitch. Thet stick that they have both recieved when being substituted in recent games has been unwarranted and a sign of scapegoating.

5. I have no idea why people don't rate Bamba, and I think Sven was a waste of time and money.

(I know that's more than 5 points but I couldn't leave any out :P )

1) Nigel Pearson needs to be given time to consolidate and build to aim for promotion next year. There should be no talk of sackings etc.

2) Nugent & Beckford's partnership is blossoming and I think Beckford will score hatfuls in this league for us next season. Wouldn't it be great to see 2 LCFC strikers near or at the top of the Championship scoring charts! Nugent's already up there, and there's no reason why Beckford, next season, can't be too.

3) Steve Howard should be sold in the summer and we should get in a decent back-up for Nugent & Beckford, and possibly another winger.

4) Ben Marshall needs to be given a run in the side.

5) A late run will see us finish 7th/8th, just outside of the play offs.

1) Replace Wellens, Gallagher and Dyer

2) Find our best partnership in the centre of defence

3) Beckford a Nugent will be a force next season IF we keep them!!

4) Must keep Kasper

5) Let Pearson build a team

5, if we're not promoted this year all championship teams should feel honored to be playing against us for one last season.

I don't think this is a nailed-on certainty by any means. I think they wanted a quick cash win a la Mandaric. I think they'd walk away a moderate loss; they aren't hobbyists and football isn't their raison d'etre.

1. We should never have got rid of Pearson

2. We should never have got Sven

3, We shouldn't have had a huge squad at the start of the season with loads of dead wood.

4. We will get promoted next season with me missing most of the games due to uni :/

5. We will beat Norwich on Saturday even though we can't win away at Watford.

We will just have to hope that they will stay until we reach the prem, I don't know what their future plans entail but they seem the type to splash the cash and want to make us successful given their investment.

6) It's still worth going to watch Leicester this season even though we probably won't get promotion or win the FA Cup. What happened to enjoying a game of football?

1) We need consistency

2) We are not playing that badly, (just because we lose doesn't mean we have played terribly and are the worst side in the world)

3) We need more signings like Drinkwater and Marshall, not Fernandes and Johnson on loan, build for the future

4) Pearson needs to learn how to get the best out of his squad and pick the team based on the opposition and not on reputation

5) Pearson needs to learn how to make a decisive game changing substitution, throwing Howard on with 10 minutes to go is never the answer

oui, oui, oui, oui and oui!

I like this, when did promotion become the ONLY thing that mattered when you were watching EVERY game.

Ok, if you like that, what about this?

1) Two wins in a row would be nice.

2) A cup run every year.

3) A creative midfielder.

4) To be seen as high risk. We could be as popular as Millwall.

5) Kasper to take a shot from a free-kick.

1) Bamba is our best defender: I would far rather have a beast of a defender like him that can retain possesion than someone like Matt Mills.

2) I have no idea how/why the total liability that is Matt Mills is our captain: the guy doesn't perform, doesn't show any signs of leadership and doesn't seem to care. I've spent the whole season watching him slunk off the pitch first at the end of games, the straw that broke the camel's back being at Brighton where he was the first of our players heading for the tunnel after 2,500 fans had travelled all of that distance in the cold to watch us lose in the last minute. Contrast this with Schmeichel.

3) Andy King is still quality: the King of old will return, you don't lose your quality over night. Yes he could maybe make more of a positive influence on the side when things aren't going right and be a bit more adventurous but the whole anonymous tag only exists because he doesn't have a negative impact. If people make mistakes you notice (hence the recent stick for Wellens and Gallagher etc). If you keep it simple when you're not on top form and don't make mistakes you're suddenly 'anonymous'?!

4) 'The Kop' is dead: yes that's the area of the stadium where the old kop at Filbert Street was, but now you've got the whole of the upper tier of the Double Decker mixed in because they want to sit in a similar area to that they did at Filbert Street. Middle aged women, OAPs and kids don't make for a voiciferous atmosphere. The sooner people accept this, move on and migrate over to K and L (where the view and atmosphere are both far better) the better it will be for the atmosphere.

5) Our away support is great: yes we might be well-placed geographically but we take loads, everywhere, every time. Historically the club's always had a good away following and it's no different now. Be it taking over tiny towns in League One or being part of 8000 at Forest, I love following Leicester on the road.

1) we should give Kasper the captaincy - he is the first name on the team sheet every week both literally and in terms of who should play !

2) making wholesale changes to the squad this summer will be really difficult given the money for wages Sven and Neville have thrown around between last Jan and Sven leaving

3) we need a CM, a target man and 2 wingers this summer.

4) if only we could continue with the spirit of the 'we love you' chants into next season we could create a special atmosphere which will keep fans coming and help the team.

5) We need another coach - first time round NP had Gerry then ChrissyP - we are a defensive coach light and should seek to sort out. Matty Elliott ??

1. Anyone who thinks Sven brought nothing to the club is an idiot. Our best players this season have all been his signings and are all of a higher quality than what we have already, which sort of leads me in to my next three points.

2. David Nugent is the best player at the club by a country mile and I really, really hope we keep hold of him. We've been crying out for a striker of some genuine quality for literally years, I'm not sure I've been fond of one so much since Tony Cottee. Funnily enough, a Sven signing.

3. Wellens, Gallagher, Dyer and co' just simply aren't good enough for a strong promotion push. They've served the club well, they're fan favourites justifiably and I know it's difficult to have to admit this - but our league position isn't the result of injustice or disruption to the side, it's because key members of our squad (namely our midfield) are just no better than Championship journeymen. They shouldn't be used as hate figures or scapegoats for the mouth breathers but nor should they be passionately defended by equally knuckle-dragging happy-clappers.

4. We've got some genuine reasons to be optimistic; Konchesky, Peltier, Kasper, Nugent, Bamba, Drinkwater, St. Ledger and co' (predominantly Sven signings? Funny that) all show promise and could all be part of a promotion push next season. They've mostly played well and these are the players we can and should rally around.

5. The Poznan is shit and needs to stop Edit: Sorry, realised I had a genuine fifth: our set pieces are genuinely embarrassing. I know it's an old cliché amongst sports fans but what exactly did Sven and does Pearson see in Gallagher's shit, floated crosses? Why can't they see what we all see? It blows the mind. The worst part is, he's actually capable of a good, whipped cross. It's not his ability it's an active, intentional decision to put pointless floated balls in. They're ****ing crap. Watch any top side that's dangerous from set pieces, WHIPPED balls with some pace. Not rocket science.

1. We'll spank Norwich in the cup on Sat

2. We'll meet Crawley Town in the final

3. Gally 'll score a 30 yard screamer to win in the last minute of the replay

4. Wellens 'll fall off the open top bus after an all night drinking binge

5. I'll wake up and discover it's all just a dream
