Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Leicester win. fingers crossed
Captain... Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I don't care about play-offs or promotion, or even the performance against Cov, can we please, please, please just win this one, win 2 games back to back, that will make my season, I don't care if it is the worst game in the world and we win with an own goal from a corner that shouldn't have been awarded in the first place, we just need to win this game.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 3rd March seems a long way off for our next game
StanSP Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 3rd March seems a long way off for our next game Only a week away. February is a shorter month and this Derby game would have been played at the weekend, hence why it feels longer away.

I hope the slightly longer break doesnt disrupt our mini revival

(I'm taking the piss, I'm taking the piss) ... Realistically Cov are an absolute shambles.. Can't see anything other than a good Leicester victory.

Guest Col city fan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 But we won the last game Col city fan, thats not how it works, we always lose or draw the next game I know I know!!! Just trying to be optimistic and all that...

Guest Col city fan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 If we beat Cov im going to turn to religion Oh I've done that already mate... Roughly at the time we were under Peter Taylor I kept praying to God that he wouldn't sign Lee Marshall.. Unfortunately 'the big fella' must have been occupied with other evils on that day...

Just hope the players don't feel the pressure of such high expectations though.

The squad looks a generally happier bunch at the moment which was very apparent before the game at Norwich ( with the obvious exception of Mills).. I think they believe that they can win games and appear eager to play for their place. Finally.... Pearson has a knack of taking the pressure off players IMO. I'm sure they are told to go out and win, but i reckon they know that Pearson will take the flak and shrug it off if they don't. The play offs remain a big ask... I'm pretty convinced that Nige is realistically planning for next season with his selections.

Smiles on faces all around (I say all, bar one or 2!) and same will go for the fans if 3 points are gained come Saturday evening!

Corky Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Seen lots of these games at Leicester before- couple of Coventry wins but mostly Leicester victories. Anything less than a win is a poor result.
Salieri Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Back to back league wins jinx finally to be broken and I will be there to see it. Can't wait.
dannythefox Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I never think we should win any game now because there the ones we lose!
He's not bald Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 We will beat Covscum don't be worrying, then full of optimism we'll head off to Ashton Gate and get mugged by Brizzle Shitty!
lestajigs Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 This game can't come soon enough for me.. Come onnnnnnnnn lestaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Gold Coast Fox Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I was going to say 1-1 but with big wes morgan at the back, ill go for 2-0 leicester. The extra goal coming from the man him self heading in from a corner
NeilyBoy Posted 25 February 2012 Posted 25 February 2012 I wish I could share all of your optimism but let's face it: it's a nailed on draw however you look at it. Let's just hope there'll be lots of goals.
