Away from home, I may not be a perfect person to comment but we always seem to play considerably poorly against teams like this?? It would be a huge embarrassment if we didn't win, any comments?

Having lived in Hinckley for a few years in the 80's and 90's I grew up with a bitter taste just hearing the word Cov, so there would be nothing sweeter to see us stuff them and knock a nail in their Championship coffin!!

Except they'll be up for it even more than that is possible, desperate for points and a local derby. Having said that, even Forest scored 2 against them. Not beating them would be hugely embarrassing.

Guy Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 This won't be a stroll in the park, that's for sure as Cov. have been unlucky in some of the most recent games they've lost away. It has all the ingredients for us not to win actually (especially as we'll probably still have a cup hangover from yesterday! - whether it's rain or shine in the inbetween biggie against Derby. As one poster alluded to already, over the last two seasons we've been held to home draws by them when expected to win. I remember the one that was live on the BBC two seasons ago when we raced into a 2-0 lead, only to draw 2-2 and last season we scraped a 1-1 draw. Get your money on a home draw. If we lose at Derby we won't lose against Cov.
Karljohn Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 They always seem to drag us down to their level, they must be awful though losing at Forest. and I hate them so much im almost as keen to see them go down as much as see us get into the play offs. The portsmouth ten point deduction has given them a chance but this is the worst Cov side in a long time so I'll go for a 2-0 win. Ive got £50 to come back from Corals if they go down!
