Play Off Chances Improved Today

If we don't win against Bristol then we defiantly won't get play offs, we need to take our chances to boost our GD, we should of won about 5-0 against Cov!

I don't think we will go up and next season will be our season, even though we said that this season

Be good to welcome Chrissy P back to the King Power stadium next season though

It's not, beat the teams above is and we're bloody close!

I agree with your point. And I said after the Derby game that if we can get 6 points from Cov, Bristol City and Reading then it is still a genuine possibility, we now have 3 of them but we're still some way off where we need to be. However, I have a bad feeling that Reading will effectively end our playoff hopes at the Madejski. Much like they did last year. If we can beat Reading, one of our real bogey sides since I've supported the City then I will genuinely believe it's a real possibility.

Overall, I generally look at our games/situation with a positive outlook, while I feel that we're capable of getting a good points return over the remainder of the season, I feel we've probably left ourselves too much to do for the rest of the season. I do however feel the most positive that I have about our overall situation since the close season after the Playoff Semi vs Cardiff but before Pearson was sacked. I think we can really kick on and Pearson is the right man if any to build ourselves a squad with the correct mentality that's required to mount a real promotion campaign.

I said two games ago that we need to win 11 and can lose 4 to make the play offs. Still the same now, we need to win 9 and can afford to lose 4. I think we can drop 12 and still make it in, but there's still a long way to go. We need to turn this into a real run if we're going to be there at the end of the season. Let's take it one game at a time and hope we can get a good run together !

If we only get 4 from the next two games I'm pretty sure we'll lose ground. On the law of averages I'd suggest that at least one of the teams from 6th to 11th get six points. It's not good enough for us to gain on some we have to do better than all of them. 7th is as bad as 13th.

The Law's an ass ! :P

4 points from our next two games would be playoff form and easily doable.

I'm not confident of getting anything at reading but I agree that'd be a great return ad would certainly put us in contention

We can actually afford to lose at Reading provided we take 6 points from Bristol and Brum. Reading isnt really a team we are going to catch in all fairness. They are too far in front. Like others have said we can afford to lose a couple. We take 6 from 9 over the next week and we are well in with a shout

simple fact is we have 13 games left and to get playoffs we would have to win at least 9 of those games really which would be incredible form since we have only just broke 2 wins in a row but ive got a feeling that we will run it close and maybe even make it.

Looking at the 3 games, these will either make or break our season. If we can get AT LEAST 6 points then we're right back in with a chance, but any less than that and I think we'll be pretty close to being done for the season, unless we win the last 9 or 10 which in all likeleness will not happen.

Those two points we dropped at Forest could cost us. (should i say the ref cost us)

You could say that about many games we've not won this season, such as the defeats to Hull and Brighton in the dying minutes. End of the day, we've been crap this season for most of it. The run of home draws in December and January were unacceptable, as was the defeats to Doncaster and Watford having been in front.
