I genuinely believe, however, that Mills has kinda gone past the point of no return here.

If he had been sensible, he would have kept his head down, his gob shut and let his ability do the talking. IF you consider he has much ability... I'm not sure myself.

But his alleged actions actually imply that he doesn't care about us and, moreover, wants to leave.

What on earth can Nige do following this?

Play him again and suggest to the rest that he's a pushover?

AND just imagine the flack that Nige would get if he brings Mills back in and we go on to concede another three goals in his come back game?

Shudder.... It's a tough un for sure...

But Mills, it would appear, has not helped himself.

As I said to you the last time we chewed the fat on this one, you're probably right ... especially about the point of no return. I just think high level leadership is sometimes counter-intuitive and NP needs the skin of a Rhino to pick him after this, as would the player ..... the latter of which might not be present. Would be a great debate over a pint or three !! (Great try by Manu !!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Appreciated - a real compliment for me, as it's what I do for a living - but I realise it winds some people up as it challenges their beliefs !! But that's what this is great for when it works well.

How many people on here slagged off SSL after his incident with Pearson, and now worship him?

He put his head down, worked hard in training and apologised to Pearson, not heard Mills apologise yet :whistle:

Well, if this is true my opinion of Mills has gone down even more. He could leave all he wanted to before I heard about this incident, but this is just ridiculous. Should be stripped of captaincy, if he hasn't already.

And I don't see why people bring St Ledger into this. Apparently Mills was far worser than St Ledger, and, I never heard of St Ledger celebrating opposition goals. He got his head down, worked hard to get in the team and has played well to stay in the first team.

I was sat a few seats down, will upload a pic of him signing autographs for reading fans after the game, tomorrow, on my phone now but when I get on the comp will get it up. I'm not saying he is Satan just that I personally saw him sat there having a laugh with the shite reading fans, believe me I have lived in this hole for years and nothing winds me up more than losing here let alone our own player having a laugh on our expense.

Seems as if Mills is a complete asshole, the club should get rid of a.s.a.p.

Any player who sits with the opposition fans and applauds when they score is not welcome.
