Some absolute twats of fans we have, lets face facts we dont have the full picture so cant really judge anything tbh. You may not like a player but at the end of the day if he players for your club you should support him imo and just wanting to have ago outside of the football ground during his personal time is just a bit sad really

look at the facts// kapser was the best buy and grayson could not keep him,mills if he was that good reading would still want him but they sold him? beckford was brought from leeds moyes found out he bought a lemon if he wanted to keep him he would of loaned him out to sharpen him up he sold him?player move on some for good and some for other reason and on paper leicester should be out of sight by now where not.

managers come and go as well and if nigel was left a lone when we got into the play off we could be in the premiership now where not we have had 3 manangers since then plus a take over so we have to now waite until the summer then get rid of the dead wood and start building a proper team that will work together and start winning games. :chant:

Matt Mills is a disgrace not only was he sat in the Reading end with all the other Reading fans cheering their goals he was also caught showing off a Reading home shirt that he was seen purchasing with his £40,000 a week wages. Get rid and bring back Jack Hobbs

He fell out with the manager, questioning him or something like that, hasn't apologised to Pearson as far as i'm aware.

He has had some good games for us and does make a few cracking passes, like the one for Dyer which was 70+ yards.

Only came to us for the money and Sven IMO, didn't deserve the captaincy aswell, no player who has just come to a club deserves to be captain IMO.

You was good yesterday though, proves why you are 3rd and pushing for 2nd place, so much shape in your side and not afraid to go on the counter attack, something we don't seem to do.

Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope you get 2nd, can't stand West Ham one bit, nor Southampton for that matter

I have never said that before, Pearson is for the future so get your facts right!

When I first heard Mills being offloaded I said that Pearson was right to do so, just like St. Ledger when he questioned him, but look how that has affected St. Ledger, that kick up the backside helped St. Ledger and he put his head down and fight for his spot and now look at him, always in the first team for me, whereas Matt Mills what has he done? Fvck all, hasn't apologised to Pearson as far as i'm aware of and is happy not to play for us and still get his wages.

I've stuck with this guy all the way through. I've always thought that he got way more criticism than the deserved, mainly because of his (frankly insane) price tag. I've always been happy to stick by him for this season while he settles down at the club. But IF this is true. And that is a big IF, then this guy is certainly without any doubt whatsoever, the biggest c*** to come anywhere near our club since I started supporting them. And I'd include Lee Hoos in that. All the hard earned money that our fans work for and spend on going to the KP and up and down the country to support our team and this guy, who is not only on a reported FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS per week which is draining our clubs wages, he's supposed to be our club captain! And what does he do during the time that he should be giving everything to the cause for our proud club? He's actually sitting in the stands of his old club, which happens to be against the club he is supposed to be playing for at this time. And he's celebrating goals that are scored against us?

IF this is true, then, well I'm lost for words. Yes he's had a fallout with Pearson that we don't have the full details out and yes I'm sure he feel hard done by etc. That is appalling conduct for a supposed 'club captain'. Surely he should at least show a degree of respect to his teammates, our owners who pay his extortionate wage and our fans who have tried to back him as much as possible.

Oh, and there is the fact that Reading is one of the most c***y clubs to have ever existed in England, just to really rub salt into the wound.

They are facts. Can't remember the thread title, but remember you expressing a great deal of anger at Pearson when the story broke. You definitely suggested you wouldn't attend another game whilst he was in charge. Not having a go, just think it's odd you're backtracking now you've realised Mills is a cvnt!

Perhaps Mills just sat in the wrong end by mistake and was very fearful of the Reading fans setting about him, so had to cheer when they scored to stop being ripped limb from limb. Surely we have all done that before ?

Great question CCF, and I'm about to go into exile from this site once I've typed this as I'm sure the 'black and white views' brigade will struggle with this, but I would engineer a second chance.There's so much in this. I felt physically sick when I read the OP comments at the beginning of the thread. But how many of us on here would or have reacted similarly ? He's still a young man who appears to have found being told he is worth several millions of pounds and paid an exhorbitant weekly wage difficult to adjust to. And now he has made another huge mistake (we still don't know what the first one was). He's been publicly humiliated for the first one - loss of captaincy and even squad place. I know I've thrown my toys out on odd occasions when I felt the world was conspiring against me. Clearly, my viewpoint is influenced as I rate him. We're shipping goals left, right and centre atm. For me, our best 2 CD's aren't starting. That alone is contentious. But someone needs to manage situations like this. Who the hell advises Mills ??????? Someone knew he was going to do that and couldn't dissuade him ??? That's quite alarming in itself. Anyway, Eng vs France beckons .... don't think I'll read the hate -mail comng my way ..... but it's about winning games of footy and for me Mills is an asset in that pursuit.

Although Pearson does seem to have personality clashes with certain players, nevertheless Pearson himself should be mature about matters too and let all that side of things ride - and pick the player on what he contributes to the team rather than whether or not he gets on with the player - Mills here surely being the latest case in point. I remember Pearson letting DJ Campbell go out on loan to Blackpool - and he helped fire them to the Prem. in the play offs that season when he quite easily could've done the same for us and so avoided us losing in that penalty shoot-out against the Taffs in the semis two seasons ago. Although I'm not condoning Mills' latest bout of petulant and seemingly reactive behaviour, Pearson should surely take a look at himself during occasions such as this too.
