The doors opening Leicester! Great results, but we really could do with Reading Southampton and West Ham beating everyone else (except us in West Hams case) we need 1 place so 6th place will do, so if the top 5 win every game all the better for us I reckon.

If Blackpool do beat us then it's nothing to do with what somebody has typed on a forum, it's because Pool are a better team than us!

Guy Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 As some posters have already said, just watch us blow it tonight - now that everybody else ahead of us did us an unexpected favour last night by losing, even Forest helped us by banging seven in against Leeds! If we lose tonight it's definitely goodbye play offs I fear, especially with a grudge match on the immediate horizon afterwards, namely against Dull City.

Matt Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 I can see what's going to happen here, we have 2 games in hand over some of the teams above us, we'll win those 2 games in hand and we'll all get excited saying we're 2 (Or however many the difference is) points of the playoffs, we'll then go on to lose the following game putting us (probably) 5 points (Or again, whatever the difference maybe) behind the playoffs again. You heard it here first.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Don't get this: yes Blackpool and Hull are above us but even by beating them it doesnt mean a great deal. We'd still have to win 6 of the last 8 games. One of which is forest, to say nothing of Leeds and WHU. Even then we're relying on other teams slipping up consistentley til the end of the season! Though it'd be funny if we got into the playoffs at the expense of Leeds, beating them with kasper saving a penalty and beckford getting the winner!
