bring on next season

Nigel has had one transfer window where you can't sign players! The summer is when we can rock and roll and add to the squad. The positives are we have Marshall,Danns and drinkwater. The negatives are we have 2 strikers who are knackered, Nugent is worn out after 30mins atm and isn't particulary chasing round like a blue arsed fly like he did before. The fact is the squad is knackered and has no options! we need another 2 wingers, waghorn back from injury and schlupp is getting match fitness after being out for 2 months. We need a summer of additions and a hard intense fitness regime, instead of players prancing around on canoe's and just playing games like we did last summer.

Will be about the 5th season+ in a row we've said this at this stage of a season.

But I do think that we may finally get there next season :D

I just pray for a bit of stability.

3 or 4 in, 3 or 4 out, same core squad, same manager, having some kind of idea how we are going to perform!

We were saying the same thing at the end of last season - after Sven's tinkering with the back 4 which ultimately led to our downfall.

NP needs to bring in team players and somehow attempt to shift out individuals who themselves won't look particularly attractive to other clubs thanks to their rather generous pay packets. Only bottom of the premiership will be able to compete with those but the players aren't good enough for that level anyway.

Players I think might leave in the summer and will need replacing

Mills Bamba

Beckford

Wellens ssl possibly Nugent and even possibly kasba

Nugent won't go, his wife said they are living in leicester and love it here

You're right - we do have some well-paid underperforming players who will be difficult to sell on for a decent fee. I think the best way would be to loan them out, short term, on the understanding they get 1st team action. They'll be in the shop window, and possibly play better than they did here. If they don't perform, loan them somewhere else when they get back. I think there's a good chance their value would rise doing this.

Im all about effective time management now, clearly 12/13 is going to be more of 11/12...So ive decided to skip straight through to the "bring on Season 13/14".

All aboard the futuristic optimistic Delorean.

I agree with one, if you think any of the others will leave, you're deluded

It will be tough next year more so than this year I can see the 2/3 relegated teams being around the playoffs for automatic I would hope us to be around their, Leeds if they sort their squad out I can see them challenging for the title.

I can see the following leaving:

Mills

Beckford

Howard

St Ledger (maybe)

Pantsil

Weale

As for arrivals, who knows?

Paddy... Don't forget what some of these players are 'earning'.

Mills 40k

Beckford 30k

Pantsil... No idea but I doubt it's just a few shilling.

Then you have a player, in Mills, who has had a public falling out with his manager.

You have Beckford, who has scored what 6/7 league goals in 30+ games

And Pantsil.. Who never features....

These players, I would imagine, will not be easy to get rid of even if Pearson wants to.

Can't I, at least, get over my disappointment at the way this season has panned out before destroying myself with the hope for next season?

Can't really see Leeds being able to sort their squad out IMO, sorting their squad out will mean spending money, unless Uncle Ken fvcks off and a new man comes in I dont think they'll be spending too much this summer.
