lavrentis Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 I don't have a TV so don't watch it, not missing much though as I watch whatever I want to online and obviously get football streams. Don't listen to radio that often (football only) but I listened to the stations Leicester had to offer last night and wasn't impressed
acooling08 Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 The only radio I listen to is BBC Radio Leicester for football. Music played on the radio usually sucks.
Phube Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 I only listen to the Radio in the car... Radio 4 at that! TV is rarely off on my house, that or the iPod is on (dock or PC).
AoWW Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 The wife lives for bland, mindless TV crap - preferably involving a doctor, a detective or a crime solving doctor. Or a detective who has a deep interest in medicine. That's when the headphones go on. So like a wonderful married couple we never argue because I am listening to my music, BBC Radio 5, 4 or 6. Late night drives are made for Radio 3, Sunday mornings for The Archers omnibus on podcast. Me, some dogs, a tropical island and a solar powered radio - I'd be happy as a pig in shit. I know Anna Friel's a bit rough, but that's harsh!
Daggers Posted 3 April 2012 Author Posted 3 April 2012 I know Anna Friel's a bit rough, but that's harsh! She missed her chance when she let herself have plastic surgery in the States. If I'm going for real beauty now then I'm having me a bit of Ms. Samantha Brick. Now that's a stunna.

Showing my age! im finding myself saying to customers"i can see you about 3" thus enabling me to listen to The Archers and afternoon play on radio 4.

Webbo Posted 3 April 2012 Posted 3 April 2012 BBC4 or Radio4 - that's a tough call. Ken Bruce or Homes under the Hammer- that's a real toughy.

Saxondale Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 TV at home, because it's like radio but with moving pictures. Granted, most of the stuff on it is rubbish. Radio in the car or whilst otherwise occupied. Radio 5 any time of day or night for me. Great station. I have a digital radio standing about 18 inches from my face as I type this, but I never really think to use it (except for away match commentary). I should do really because almost anything I will find on there will be more entertaining than EastEnders or any of the other generic crap that the misses has on the telly.
Asha Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Radio. I haven't watched TV for a long time apart from the occasional football match, and even then it's usually out somewhere.
Guest Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 I work for 5 live so the amount of radio I listen to by default is quite alot but I'll still have it on in the car, particularly Saturdays for Danny Baker and FT .Tto be honest I rarely watch TV in 'real time' anymore it's either the odd series recorded or a box set on DVD so I guess it's Radio all the way for me
