Ridicolous price. And everyone going on about being ID'd its stupid what sort of ****ing ID is someone under 16 suppose to have

Passport, but screw that I am not going to bring that, you will be able to get in :)

Deffo not going at those prices.

What if we need 1 point to get in play offs or remain in them, won't you go then?

Ridiculous. Something needs to be done about ticket prices.

As much as we would all like to see us sneak into the play-offs and win at Wembley if we did get up it would only be worse. The problem is that people pay it, and they will continue to do so. Now is the time for clubs to forget about what may be good for them and show they care about the value on offer for their fans (you can just imagine the attitude at clubs being 'they're charging our fans x amount to go there, we'll charge their fans the same to come here' rather than challenging it).

Why should it take for fans to boycott for the issue to be addressed? Why should people miss doing what they love doing in order to make a change?

For once, football needs to make a stand and forget about financial gain. The likelihood of it happening is minimal though, they won't concede the power that they hold. It's clearly beneficial for clubs to be pricing like this because gone are the days of filling stadiums at lower prices. They're like the dealer that is witholding the drugs from the junkies who will pay extortionate prices. Sadly, no matter what the price there are still a good 500 or so of our support that will go regardless and whilst that continues to happen nothing will change without clubs thinking about their fans above themselves and taking a lead on this issue.

Great post.

Unfortunately without fans action it won't change, seeing as the clubs prove time and time again they're cvnts who use fans for money and nothing else.

And I'm absolutely SICK of hearing "that's how football is nowadays" and all that shit. Basically acceptance of being walked all over.

Bet the Germans are in hysterics.

Yep.

Don't pay them.

For as long as people keep forking out the prices will keep going up. Waiting for someone else to do something is an exercise in futility.

The principle is correct but it won't actually happen. That's why clubs need to do something for the greater good of their fans.

Look at the old Wimbledon before they became MK Dons, when their fans were trying to get people to boycott to stop money going into the club there were still those that would ignore the demonstrations and protests and go to watch. Yes a lot of people stopped going but even when the club was being franchised there were still people willing to put money towards that because they couldn't face not going to watch the football.

This is the point. Someone else does need to do something here.

I know mate, there will never be enough people actually taking action - content to moan but carry on paying.

The rate our ticket prices have gone up over the last decade stands as testament to that.

Clubs 'should' do something, the FA 'should' do something - but they won't unless they are backed into a corner by mass action because no one gives a flying shit about "the fans" apart from clubs with a strong & involved Trust (something we don't have).

Which is the sad truth of the fact you've got greedy, ignorant cvnts behind the scenes most of the time.

Ken Bates is probably the worst chairman in English football.

£36 lol.

Oh dear.

Really wish us as a club/fans would boycott it.

Should take lead of how the Dortmund did it against Schalke a while back.

And that was because they upped the price to 19 euros for a terrace ticket in one of the biggest derbies in German football.

We're mugs in this country, no question.
