Babylon Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Absolute bullshit - I was more than happy when he came back - I was right behind him up until he stropped off the first time and hoped he would be able to get things going again here. It is the constant playing of Gally, King when fit, Wellens when not, falling out with Mills, lack of tactical sense, fielding the wrong team at crucial times, generally (except once) making naff substitutions at the wrong time (something he regularly did the first time around too) his inability to get proven players playing well (Nugent, Beckford, Schmeichel) poor defensive record (for the first time since he has been here), and apparent desire (we don't know yet) to take us back to the stone age footballing wise that have led me to believe he has declined from the man he was - started falling out of love with him after the Bristol and Peterborough games and seen nothing since to change my mind . So basically everything Sven also did then, and you backed him. Hmmmmmmm.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 No, he can't. The players simply are not good enough. You can't turn round and tell me that is Pearson's fault. The squad assembled under our previous world class manager had a huge say so on that one. Though World class ? More like world chump. You are really saying that Pearson should take NO responsibility for the teams performance since his arrival? What the hell is a manager responsible for? Of course he should shoulder some of the blame, he gets paid for "managing". Is this how the pro Pearson brigade think? You sonny, show a distinct lack of common sense, and are in dire need of some very basic education, Try looking the word "manager" up in the dictionary, if you know how to use one.
seenitall Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 So basically everything Sven also did then, and you backed him. Hmmmmmmm. I didn't 'back' him - I was disgusted at the way the idiots who run City fired him without seeing what he could do with his new players, disgusted that they then left us up shit creek for 6 weeks because they hadn't thought it through and then slightly underwhelmed, although supportive at first, of them bringing Nige in. The love I felt for Sven was in your and ColCity's head, not a real thing (you actually believe the shit you write about other posters??) WE have no choice but to support Nige and if he can bring back some of the sparkle he had 2 years ago then hooray - problem is, the only thing his worshippers can throw up as evidence that this is going to happen are his first stint here (2 years ago) his tenure at Hull (middling and not the tour de force suggested, because of money etc) and 30 odd games here where he appears to have done nothing - so lets have a close season and hope he does a little better than he did in the two he had at Hull. In Nige We Trust

seenitall Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Ahhh you're just winding me up now - In Nige We Trust
Babylon Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Ahhh you're just winding me up now - In Nige We Trust Fighting fire with fire now Oh and I don't trust Nige, no more than I did Sven. I just want to be 100% sure (or as close as I can) that he or isn't the right man. Until he's had his summer I can't say that.

Babylon Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Find where I said I did? As I keep repeating and repeating. Asking for a manager to have time, or defending them against certain ridiculous things, does not mean I think he's amazing. I have no idea if he's the right man, my view is nobody can know for sure just yet.
ithuriel Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Stop reading then muppet Aww little troll not liking being called I've been reading all the shite you post and when over this season, especially after our little chat earlier in the season and you troll fantastically but a troll you are none the less Bad game=Its the owners , i back pearson, pearson should be sacked because sven was, oh i didnt mean that i'm being sarcastic, etc., Good game=nothing, no sign
MrBojangly Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Let's all just CALM THE F**K DOWN!!!! No, but seriously it's getting very angry in here. Can't we all just hold hands and sing I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing?
RowZ Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Why is the criticism aimed at Pearson? The players have consistently underperformed. The players have been hopeless, this is not Pearson's fault. God oh God - here we go again...Anyone who's ever been in management (football or otherwise) will tell you that's bull - Managers have the power to change any part of the performance to get results - that's what Managers do. Yes I agree - the clicky players he picks from the squad week in, week out are hopeless - that's HIS fault for picking them. There's more waiting for their chance to shine, and the results couldn't have been any worse with the youth squad. On the money NP earns, he should really be getting better from these players.
DanTheFox07 Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 Can I add that one of the main reason`s we have been so poor for a while now is because we haven`t had a team in place ready to go into pre-season and change the way we play. Perhap`s this summer we will finally learn, try to get deal`s for player`s done earlier. From what Ive heard speculation on twitter today said that we had put in 2 bid`s for player`s already over the last 48 hour`s, this is surely evidence that Pearson want`s to get his buisness done early and get a settled squad for pre-season. I disagree that our midfield is our weakest link, Admittedly it could be stronger but I see more cause for concern in our defence and Attack. Everyone is clearly frustrated with the last couple of season`s but Pearson deserves another 6 month`s to try and build a promotion capable Squad. The signing`s he has made I think no one can argue have been a success, Marshall the pick of the bunch. Let`s also not forget that he missed certain target`s for example cameron stewart who would have added another dimension to our attack. Let`s quit all the negativity surrounding Pearson now and get behind him and the decision`s he makes for our club, he doesn`t need any of us to remind him what we expect! he said himself that nothing but top 2 will be good enough next season. If we don`t go into next season with a strong start I don`t expect It will be long before the owner`s will pull the trigger, a lot of you would be happy for this to happen! but for me mean`s another failure and back to square one. I will put faith in pearson for now and I think it`s about time the rest of the doubter`s did! Keep The faith!

MattyFromLE Posted 27 April 2012 Posted 27 April 2012 And you keep taking the happy pills. It's all you will have to look forward to. You're making yourself look really silly now. Haven't you got something else to do/moan at?
MC Prussian Posted 28 April 2012 Posted 28 April 2012 Labeling this season as a "disaster" is, mildly put, pure nonsense. We didn't get to where we wanted to go, but still there are some positives to draw from this campaign. Onwards to the next, ahem, attempt.
Daggers Posted 28 April 2012 Posted 28 April 2012 You can't say this un-provable, unsubstantial garbage... "The only reason Danns picked up the suspension was because he was forced to play in a game for which he was clearly not fully fit." ...and then take the piss out of others. He can, that's what Colin does - he's the very model of a politician.
seenitall Posted 28 April 2012 Posted 28 April 2012 Aww little troll not liking being called I've been reading all the shite you post and when over this season, especially after our little chat earlier in the season and you troll fantastically but a troll you are none the less Bad game=Its the owners , i back pearson, pearson should be sacked because sven was, oh i didnt mean that i'm being sarcastic, etc., Good game=nothing, no sign If any of that made sense you might have had a point - don't know why its so hard to work out; Owners = spoilt little rich boy playing 'live' championship manager with our club Sven = sacked too early into this season Nige= desperate attempt to relive 2 years before - should never have been sacked in the first place, decent bloke that appears to have lost his way a bit, jury has to be out Foxestalk = full of hopelessly naive 'fans' who have to stick to their chosen point of view despite damning evidence to the contrary sometimes Next season = foolishly I will find myself optimistically (as will most of you) parting with money to watch City, trying to find streams on Sats when I am out of the country, desperately hoping the corner will be turned and having to read the most amazing tripe on here about why we should buy a new team/not spend any money/get players from lower leagues/sign our rivals best players/give Nige more time/fire him - its all good fun, so take a chill pill little fella
seenitall Posted 28 April 2012 Posted 28 April 2012 Death would be a release for both of them. When you know you are taking this all a bit too seriously - really, death?????
