One of my favourites in the city centre At the risk of putting myself in a position whereby I'm gonna get hammered... I don't drink real ale - I'm a larger boy (when I actually drink which is rare). I tried a bitter once (IPA I think) thought it was rank. Back in the day when I worked in a pub I never liked the look of Tiger or Beacon either.

Unless its a "proper" night out (not a plastic one) in which case I switch to Vodka and Diet coke. No alcohol is good for you but as a general rule the clearer the liquid, the 'healthier'/'less fattening' it is.
