The gaffa takes me in there for a pint if we've had a good month - nice pub, feels like a village local, but in te city centre (and 60 sec from work too)

Got some good ales on usually too. One of my favourites in the city centre

At the risk of putting myself in a position whereby I'm gonna get hammered...

I don't drink real ale - I'm a larger boy (when I actually drink which is rare).

I tried a bitter once (IPA I think) thought it was rank.

Back in the day when I worked in a pub I never liked the look of Tiger or Beacon either.

lol I'm certainly one who can't spell! Lager boy that should say! Unless its a "proper" night out (not a plastic one) in which case I switch to Vodka and Diet coke.

No alcohol is good for you but as a general rule the clearer the liquid, the 'healthier'/'less fattening' it is.

When I'm drinking alcohol my first thought generally isn't "I wonder how healthy this is?" :P

Haha unfortunately I'm kinda conditioned in that way - until the vodka has its way and then I couldn't give a flying fvck. I was that smashed even had a kebab on my birthday - unbelievable.

Muchos Gracias.

You're very welcome.

Please do also spare a thought for all the poor people who're actually working today.

Me included. Well, sort of.
