Guest MattP Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 It's a pisstake of Fergies "not in my lifetime" comment. People can't wait to get upset about anything these days can they?
Guest Bilo Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Wondered what it was about, I knew that even Tevez couldn't be that much of a cvnt.
Zingari Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Tevez may have been making a satirical response to a quote from Ferguson in September 2009 when he was asked if United would ever go into a Manchester derby as underdogs, and replied: "Not in my lifetime." i think that may just explain it it all as a light hearted joke ( although maybe the joke wasn't thought up by Tevez himself) people are very thin skinned these days
marko Posted 14 May 2012 Author Posted 14 May 2012 It's a pisstake of Fergies "not in my lifetime" comment. People can't wait to get upset about anything these days can they? Not upset, I just think it's a needless dig at one of the greatest managers ever. In my opinion there's one thing worse than a bad loser and that's a bad winner. Why he couldn't have been magnanimous in victory is beyond me.
Out Foxed Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 no class, a picture of jay z's second album cover would have sufficed.

I agree with that but also just because he's a legend doesn't mean he should be exempt from having the piss taken out of him after making disrespectful comments about his opposition.

Absolutely, but I think there are better ways of doing it - e.g have a dig in a live interview - than holding up a picture of a gravestone with RIP Fergie on it. It's just a bit crass and classless.
Libertine Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Jeez. Even as a member of the PC liberal elite even I think this is ridiculous. He probably couldn't even read it. The guy's a friggin Homo Erectus.

Fergie's a great manager but an absolute tosser of a man. So he lost and he has to take a few digs on the chin. Tough shit. If he wasn't such a two-faced hypocritical twat he wouldn't get any stick. I don't like Tevez at all but in the context that has been explained I say fair play in this instance.

You on your period? As I said, have a dig - no problem, but there's better ways of doing.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 When I think about rubbing my face on Tevez's soft fur I get turned on
Kitchandro Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Calm down. You on your period? As I said, have a dig - no problem, but there's better ways of doing. No you said it was a needless dig at one of the greatest manager ever. So can he have a dig or not? Why is it important that he's a great manager? Tevez can't speak English, how would he have a dig at him in an interview? Seems a bit of a pointless argument if you're serious, he's had a light hearted joke at Fergie's expense. Because he's done it on the bus and not on TV there's a problem? I don't understand.

Because he's done it on the bus and not on TV there's a problem? I don't understand. I think he could have done it with much more class. The guy does speak English, if you believe he doesn't after being here 4/5 years you're mistaken, he even did an interview after the Norwich match this season. Well considering Fergie managed Tevez and gave him a chance to prove himself at the very top of English football it's pretty poor form putting Fergie's name on a gravestone. Tevez has Fergie to thank for league titles and a Champions League medal. And when you consider Tevez's conduct this season, he's hardly a figure to be admired.
