Daggers Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 Lost in the 1/4 final but managed to play in the final?
Lesta Legend Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 Lost in the 1/4 final but managed to play in the final? Assuming the 'shield' is like going into the Europa league when getting knocked out of the champions league. Not the main prize. Overall it sounds like we have a good bunch of youngsters coming through and by all accounts these guys can fully compete with the youth of the big guns..... Good touch by the owners to support this too.
Stevosevic Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 Waghorn looks ripped, good to see. He had looked like he was carrying a few pounds earlier in the season.
Finnegan Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 Lost in the 1/4 final but managed to play in the final? It's the same format as rugby sevens. There's the main trophy and then there's the shield underneath. It's like a cross between a 3rd / 4th place play off and - as someone above said - going in to the Europa League if you go out the CL early. Basically, all teams start equal but instead of just going home, the lesser ones get to compete with themselves for honours once they're "out."
Guest Bilo Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 Noticed Pierre Larrauri got involved again, I wonder if he'll get his chance next season?
Ric Flair Posted 20 May 2012 Posted 20 May 2012 Noticed Pierre Larrauri got involved again, I wonder if he'll get his chance next season? If he progresses as expected he should be a superstar according to the youth team coaches.
Fox in the North Posted 21 May 2012 Posted 21 May 2012 Can't wait to see what the lads can do this coming season
jonthefox Posted 21 May 2012 Posted 21 May 2012 If he progresses as expected he should be a superstar according to the youth team coaches. How old is he now?.
