It was the Thais that forced him out they wanted a big name manager hence Sousa their guest at the playoff semi finals..

They hadn't taken control and there is little proof they had anything to do with it.

He only ever said two words! 'quality' and 'stability' !

Always remember about 6 months into his reign here and we were playing barnsley away. His car tax was out of date and he still had a pompey number plate!!

He appointed Pearson, he did well but still managed to force him out.

Pearson said he fell out with Hoos, and then because we didn't reject the approach, he joined Hull City. Nothing to do with the Thais was it? Well, considering they had little, if not any, control at the club because the deal to buy the club wasn't concluded then, I guess not.

He tried but failed to get rid of Alan Birchinal during his time here. He appointed some ridiculous managers then forced out the only decent one we had in NP. When ever he says an interviewers name then chuckles you know he is about to launch into bullshit mode usually ending it with stability or trust me etc.

Doesn't care about anything else except making a profit. Can almost guarantee he will have you up for sale within thr next 2 years.

Mandaric has a Silver Tongue when it comes to the fans of any club he owns.

He tells them they are wonderful.. the best... fantastic etc etc.

Once he has charmed the fans into trusting him he can be economical with the truth about who what and when and why things happen at the club.

He can be good and bad for a Club, but a few things about having him in charge are certain..

He wont hang around and let the club stagnate: He'll get the club moving forward and look to jump off the merry go round for a profit when the money is right.

You wont ever get the straight truth from him: It's all smoke and mirrors and you'll never know what is really going on.

He'll tell you it's costing him millions... But he'll get it all back with a profit when he finally moves on.

Whilst he's in charge you will probably progress: But once someone comes with the right money he'll sell and he wont care if the new owners could be bad news in the longer term.

He'll tell you he is losing money, that he loves English Football and that he does it all for love. This is all bollocks and he is investing with sole view to sell for a profit later on down the line.

It's certainly not the worst scenario having Mandaric own your club, but it does carry a risk in who he will sell up to when the time comes.

He can also run up debt trying to get the club to a position that will attract new investment.

No.

It was Milan wanting a bigger name in order to sell us for more.

I think it was a mixture of that and Lee Hoos and his ego problems.

Combination of factors when Mandy found out that Sousa was the preferred manager of the Thais he had to out NP in order for the Thais to buy us.

Let's not forget he was looking to leave us without a training ground before the Thais came along as well. Doesn't seem to be too much of a problem with it now they've arrived.

I think he had a three-year plan and those three years were all that he was willing to take a hit on the club. Had he stayed I think there would have followed a period of scaling back and trying to re-coup expenditures accumulated over the three years (in it for the love of it all Mr Mandaric?!), regardless of what was best for the club.

They've agreed to sign Chris Kirkland today, really hope he can resurrect his career but I just can't see it happening, such a promising career ruined by injury

Kirkland was on loan at Donny last season, made 1 appearance and went back to Wigan with the same old back injury. Don't see the sense of Wednesday signing him really. I have a recurring back problem, you think you've got it beat and it comes back as bad as ever. It's a nightmare and i'm afraid he's unlikely to ever shake the injury off.

Kirkland will have one game for them, let a couple of soft goals in, **** his back and they'll never see him between the sticks again!
