stourbridgefox Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Bit geeky but I think that's a Scorpion. Armoured reconnaissance vehicle rather than a tank
Guest Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Think I'm going to treat my son to this when we come over next month. http://www.armourgeddon.co.uk/tank_battles.php
Daggers Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Think I'm going to treat my son to this when we come over next month. http://www.armourged...ank_battles.php Been there, done it - bloody great fun. They let the kids ride in the tank too and have a go at shooting targets. The battle between two tanks is simply great fun - although I bet it's better in the wet than dry as I crashed through deep mud to the next marker. Strongly recommended.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 There is a farm just around the corner from me that has tanks dotted around their farmhouse. In the summer they are wonderfully camoflaged, but in the winter you can see them from the road.
Daggers Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 There is a farm just around the corner from me that has tanks dotted around their farmhouse. Problems with sheep worrying?
Daggers Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Is Trav like that? He's a postie - God only knows the depths of his depravity.
Finnegan Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Best use of tanks, ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhKnEo9ZyEs (Any excuse, really.)
21st Century Fox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 When my friend's Volvo Estate we used to go to Uni in everyday finally packed up, he took it to Salisbury Plain and had it crushed by a tank. Satisfying. It was like a Viking send off for an automobile.
stourbridgefox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 More geekery but that's not a tank, it's a self propelled gun.
Guest Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Did you know that the French are making a new LeClerc tank with 13 gears. 1 forward and 12 for reverse.
